who's left of quality on the Dline. the whole point of the Rams potent Dline was depth. now what depth? what if Donald of Quinn goes down? the cap space got freed up too late. that money should've gone earlier to the tope linemen on both sides of the line
We still have Hayes and Sims for DE depth. DT admittedly needs one more piece, but that could be filled draft day as well. I

Why no talk on Britt today? Not sure if I should be nervous but I don't want us to lose him. We obviously have some money now so give the man a contract.

Akeem Ayers - LB - Free Agent

ESPN Rams reporter Nick Wagoner calls free agent DE/OLB Akeem Ayers "a name to keep an eye on" for St. Louis.
A 2011 second-round pick of the Titans, Ayers has a versatile skill set that would allow him to play strong-side 'backer or defensive end with the Rams. The 25-year-old sparked the Patriots' pass rush down the stretch last season after Tennessee sent Ayers to New England for a sixth-round pick.

Reports: Rams could eventually be in play for Akeem Ayers

A former Titans second-round pick could be on the Rams’ radar.

Per multiple reports from St. Louis beat writers, the Rams could have interest in Patriots linebacker Akeem PFT’s 59th-ranked free agent.

Both Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com and Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch have indicated St. Louis could, at some point, be in the mix for the 6-foot-3, 255-pound Ayers, who’s recorded 252 tackles and 13 sacks in 59 games (47 starts), the bulk of which came with the Titans. The Patriots acquired Ayers from Tennessee in October.

The Titans drafted Ayers three months after now-Rams coach Jeff Fisher left the franchise. In St. Louis, Ayers (6-3, 255) would likely be an outside linebacker in the club’s 4-3 scheme.

Graham to seattle bothers me a lot...As good as they were already, Graham makes them a huge favorite to win the west this year, IMO...We'll see how the Rams end up looking at the end of FA and the draft...That will give a better idea of whether they can challenge the Albatross...

Am I the only one who's not worried about the Graham trade? The Hawks throw less than almost every other team in the league. Wilson kills more top tier receivers than he makes. Gotta actually throw to a guy for him to be productive. I expect a huge drop off from him going from Brees to Wilson.

Just heard Ryan Matthews to Philly, believe 3 years for $12M.

If he stays healthy that's a nice pick up for them.

So you're relying on Matthews and Bradford to stay healthy next year? May the force be with you, Philly.

Williams was selected in the sixth round with the 202nd overall pick by the New York Giants in the 2011 NFL Draft, once again re-uniting him with Jason Pierre-Paul, his teammate at Fort Scott Community College and the University of South Florida.

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, "Williams caught the Giants' attention with his athleticism, speed and untapped potential." On July 29, Williams signed his rookie contract with the Giants. During training camp, Williams has mainly seen time with third–team defense. In his rookie season, Williams had 78 tackles. He played in all 16 games and made 2 starts.

During the NFC Championship game on January 22, 2012 between the Giants and the San Francisco 49ers, Williams stripped 49ers punt returner Kyle Williams during a punt return and the Giants recovered it in field goal range, which led to the game winning field goal by Lawrence Tynes and put the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, their second Super Bowl in four years.
