Heard last night on NFL total accesss that Jerrah is not letting Bryant get away. There probably gonna let Murray walk and if they cant get a deal worked out with Bryant they will just franchise tag him.

Also wouldnt mind kicking the tires on

Jake Locker
Matt Moore
Ryan Mallett

If we signed Mallett and expect him to start though we damn well better have the Oline fixed because this guy is a statue in the pocket but hes one on that list that could really stretch the field one of the strongest arms in the league.

The WR list will shrink of course, however it is pretty impressive. That will help the Rams bring Britt back I think, along with the fact he wants to stay.

Kendricks stands out with those TEs. He's not flashy and most who look at that list won't notice him, but teams are going to covet him due to his two-way versatility. In the right offense he might kill it too. So I think he's gone.

Rams need to be careful how they tender McLeod too. And to a lesser extent Davis, but McLeod is a serious threat to be poached if they don't tender him right.

As to FAs coming in... Barks is nearly as good as the others on that list, and he'll be cheaper so suspect the Rams get that done. Rams will also get an interior OL almost for sure and there are a lot of options in this year's group. Iupati would be a great fit, unless Fish hires Shanny Jr where he may look for more mobility. But either way they're gonna get an upgrade on the interior.

So just with the OL I would guess going into the draft we see GRob/FA/need/Saffold/Barks which isn't too shabby particularly if they add Iupati. Good upgrade at center in the draft and we're in business.

Kendricks is just another tight end, he is nothing special.

Thanks Rams-Junkie.....I love a good list....

1. Stephan Wisniewski
2. Orlando Franklin
3. Virgil Green (if Kendricks goes, better than any TE on the Rams roster, 4.6 speed, big guy and a great blocker, buried behind Thomas in Denver)

Second tier guys I like:

1. Patrick Robinson (a vet CB for the secondary who knows Williams D)
2. Mason Foster, a good player who was slowed by injuries this year, finally address MLB depth.
3. Dan Skuta, a very good ST player and a guy to upgrade LB depth and hurt SF depth, if Foster wasn't signed

1) Mike Iupati
2) Randall Cobb - just a favorite player of mine
3) Terrance Knighton - I'm greedy but him Brockers, Donald, Langford (maybe) all rotating in watch out.

Under the radar
1) Jermaine Gresham - not exactly under the radar but would be cool to see Sam and Jermaine back together
2) Denarius Moore (WR Oakland)
3) Jake Locker - not under radar but no lock

Terrence knighton would make this defensive line impenetrable. nobody could run on us.

It will be interesting to see how things play out. I would LOVE to have Dez but it's probably a pipe dream.

oh i don't think we could afford him - but he would be the emotional leader we need on offense

A lot of things will need to happen with Sam, Long, Wells and others for us to have that kind of cap space. I hope we do some creative things so we can sign some decent guys for the holes we have. Would love the draft to be icing on the cake.

3 High Profile UFA's to sign

#1-ORT/Swing OT- Michael Roos
might be an option if he decides not to retire after undergoing his first major surgery in his NFL career. Microfracture surgery on his right knee is a real tough battle for a 32 yr old. Roos is nothing more than a very short term insertion. If he decides to continue his excellent NFL career he may not be fully recovered for any evaluation by the time Free Agency arrives. So he may be a later consideration back into the FA view around early summer. If anyone could get Roos to reconsider one or two more seasons it should be Fisher. Roos would be a good candidate to be our #1- Starting Right OT & start @ Right OT & #2-Fill the needed Swing OT position. We need what a healthy Roos has....he can be highly effective starting @ OLT or ORT so his arrival even for just one season would bring great comfort to Sam Bradford. ( Highly QUESTIONABLE due to length of time of rehab event )

#2-OLG- Clint Boling this is jrry32 top OL & he may have the best chance to land here. Boling will never be an all pro OL. However he would be a good plug in with Boudreau @ OLG. Boling could also play ORG and ORT if needed for a short time. He will be 26 but he also tore his ACL back in 2013. Boling will be more affordable than OLG Mike Iupati & Center Stefen Wisniewski. (Solid no question UFA signing)

#3 - OLG/ORT- Orlando Franklin was moved inside because he is inclined like Barksdale to always get beat by smaller quick pass rushers. Unlike Barksdale, Franklin 27 yrd old could be moved inside & has been a good OLG not great also he not the sharpest tool in the shed either. However UFA OL'ers pickings are not real good but Rams could field a very large left side if teamed with Greg Robinson you would have about 680 plus pounds of beef both would be over 6-5. Sun may never be seen from the left again. Plus you have another seasoned vet who can play ORT if needed.
(Has a long list of nagging injury history but not like Saffold)

3 value under the radar UFA's

#1-ORT Joe Barksdale has to be under serious consideration for a good size contract offer. JB's on field game performance decline this season. JB's skills & talents are far below the three above listed UFA's but JB is a Boudreau known commodity, who is a super good smart guy! JB may be one of NFL most healthy stout & solid OL starters over the last two seasons. Shotty our passed OC would not game plan to provide JB with the needed little help with those pesky speeders this season. Maybe the new OC will take this issue into account more often in 2015.

#2-OC/OG/OT Mike Person was the Rams 6th OL'er after the Jake Long injury in 2014. He has shown Boudreau that he can play all five OL positions. 27 yr old Person was active for all 16 NFL games this season & he played in all 16 games too. He is Mr. UNbreakable along with being very smart & savvy. Was a 4 yr starter in college @ OT. Person stands his best chance to finally start in the NFL right here in the dismal looking 2015 Ram OL.

#3-OLG/ORT Jake Long highly probable to be released due to cap casualty of 10.5 mil. He will be a UFA. Rams Org looks to be in denial that they are in desperate in the OL unit but when they are forced to sign the broken down worn out ex OLT so he can limp back into the starting lineup either @ OLG or ORT it will be evident to everyone else just how bad things will be.

I see Zero chance that these two extremely high profile former bay area OL'er ( OLG Iupati or Center Wisniewski) would want to come this StLouis Ram OL & perform. Nor can the Rams afford them unless there are some major cuts & releases.
