Twice this year Fisher made big checks on his coordinators and they proved to be very good decisions. He let Scotty stink it up early in the year with his panzy passing plays that did little besides week 1 and late in week 2. The lack of a running presence greatly hindered our beloved Rams. Fisher said after the first Niners meeting that the Rams need to start running the ball. Since then Rams have went from nearly dead last in the rushing department to top ten ( speaking of from the time Stacy has started.)

Now let's move up to the second ARZ meeting. Defensively the Rams sucked all first half. Larry Fitz was giving us fits and we weren't stopping much of anything. Second half Fisher hypothetically snatches the clipboard from TW and Saints only score 3 points in the first half and that's after recovering an onside kick of their own. One thing is for sure, Fisher sure as heck isn't the problem.

Wow. I love a pro-active HC that won't just sit on his hands and watch... when obvious adjustments need to be made on the fly during a season.
This could be the end for Walton here. Either that or he'll get a ton of coaching from Fish in the offseason and retained with a tighter leash.
