That was a sick block by Fitzgerald though. Say what you want about him, but that dude comes to play every single day. He was in on so many blocks last night. So many. If Mason had a hole like that (or even Tavon), it would probably be six.

I thought that Fitz block was a crack-back - illegal, or am I missing something? I was at the game, but everyone in my section was pissed and yelling about it.

It's legal within the clips zone, which is a yard either side of LOS

Like I said - haven't watched the game yet and it was on the other end of the field, but looked like a cheapshot play to me and a lot of others... again, I might be wrong and it might have been legit. No block in the back??

Does that also apply to a player who initially lined up outside of the clips zone, then enters it to block from behind? I thought that made it illegal.

He came crashing down the line. And I think he got mostly shoulder on that block anyway.
