Maybe this doesn't have any direct relevance..but if there was one player regardless of position if we signed that would particularly 'shock' you. This could be an aging/vet presence, young riser, talent w/ injury past, simply a stopgap or a straight up stud.

I'll go with Victor Cruz via giving the Gmen our #16. That means we essentially solve Bradford's missing go to threat. He'll likely sign a huge long term deal but the reward highly outweighs the risk. Bradford is by far more accurate than Eli esp with a much stronger deep ball.

This would essentially shock me.

:hahaha:

I thought Sandcastle was only eligible for the '13 Draft and was already selected #1 by the Chiefs. :hehe:

Shonne Greene would not shock me.

The others would, for sure!

I think Jennings would be a shock, and I think we will sign a player that shocks us.

We can't get them #22. We have to give them #16.

Wells shocked me last year...won't be surprised if they do it again.

I'd give up 16 for Cruz.. I really want him. St.Louis needs a little Salsa.

Cruz and Long would be my shocks, hell I might even do the salsa if Snead and Fish decide to pull the trigger on this kid. :sly:

Mike Wallace....b/c he's overrated and he's gonna get a huge payday.

Victor Cruz 2nd b/c of the trade factor to get him.

I'd love it if we added Wallace as long as it's not for like 14 million a year. I don't agree that he's overrated. I think he's going to be lethal in the right offense. Put him in an offense like Chud's and he'll go off.

Haley made a huge error when he took over for Arians in Pitt. He tried to force Wallace in his scheme rather than scheming around what Wallace can do. In essence, he took the league's best deep threat(arguably) and made him run a lot of short routes. It's really no surprise that Wallace's numbers took a hit. Although they were still quite good before Big Ben went down with an injury.

Wallace is a 1200+ yard 8+ TD WR a year(if he's healthy) in the right scheme.

I'd happily see Wallace or Cruz in the horns next year...

What would shock me? Re-signing Amendola and SJax ;)

I agree with others...I would be shocked if Victor Cruz is signed, just because of the money and draft pick.
