This week I will be playing for first place in my league, a money league btw . I have 3 qbs -- Rivers, Palmer, RG3 -- and no kickers as of now. I'm not sure if I should drop Palmer, RG3, or Vereen (my 5th best back). This week, Rivers vs Cin, and Palmer vs Phi, so I'm deciding between those 2 to start this week. After my first rd bye, RG3 vs Atl in week 15 so I'm hesitant to drop now and risk losing him. I'm won't ever start Vereen but I don't want a potential opponent to pick him up. So what would you do?

RG3 is too unreliable but, yes, he's a threat for a big game against you. Palmer is pretty reliable and playing well right now but I wouldn't expect those big games.

I have the same pair and I'm starting Palmer because RG3 is in meltdown mode.

The best option would be a trade that would shore up your team, get you a great kicker, and ensure the player doesn't go to a future opponent.

Otherwise, tough decision. Not sure.

Carson Palmer > Robert Griffin III

At least he has Larry Fitzgerald to throw to and Michael Floyd is getting better.

Start Rivers, he's hot right now. Drop Vereen, if someone needs him to compete at this stage of the season after bye weeks, they are in trouble anyways and more than likely not in playoffs. I change kickers almost every week according to match ups, works most of the time. I bet at least three kickers available in your league now that are slated to score double digits this week.

Hence why I have no kickers right now. I was thinking Vereen but needed that extra push.

Neither game gives you the confidence. Palmer will be told to control the clock to keep Philly's offense off the field to keep the advantage of a dominant defense vs a "fast" offense. The only way Phil stays in the game is to get the (AZ) defense tired. Cincy has a decent front 7 but w/o Atkins and then Hall on the back end puts them in a bigger perdicament than would have seen a month ago. Also Cincy doesn't play as well on the road. But SD plays up (or down ...) to it's opponent. My thoughts it will be down after last week. Palmer would be my choice but I would be very intent on whether all of the other positions are healthy before both guys takes the field. As for dropping Vereen. Any RB at this time of year who can consitantly get points however it is done, is someone to hold on to. Look to see if you have a backup defense or even a fourth or 5th WR (or even RG3 as a person someone silly would jump on, releasing a better option at one of your skill positions) to drop instead. But do it late in the week to let waivers keep them out of an opponents hands until next week........

Great sig BTW....I always wondered the tensil strength of bikini strings.........
