Ha....Been listening to the fall out from choking a 17-0 lead at home in the 4th quarter.....Things I've learned from fanz:
1. Carson sucks...where is Nick Foles?
2. Our Coaches are worthless
3. Anthony Gargano was spitting mad when called out for calling Wentz a g*d. (He was so mad he was spitting bullets....lol)
4. Why didn't they RUN THE BALL!?!?! at 3rd and 2 yards near the goal line.!!!
5. If we don't get Lev Bell, the season is over...
6. WE WON'T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!

There is more....Radio hosts are screaming during their whole show, and screaming at callers...

HA!

In Hindsight, It Was Probably A Little Ill-Advised For The Eagles Players To Start Dancing Before The 4th Quarter Yesterday

So I’m still trying to wrap my head around what in the actual heck happened yesterday at Lincoln Financial Field. As far as losses go, that was one of the worst that I can remember. Not because it was an ass kicking or anything like that. If this team gets blown out of the water than they get blown out of the water. But the way it happened yesterday was truly troubling.

The fact that this team was up 17-0 at home and then went on to give up 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter is borderline shameful. And if you were watching the game yesterday, then chances are that you saw this moment as the Eagles’ special team players were dancing before the kickoff of the 4th quarter. A moment which these guys probably wished they had back right now.

A tad premature but listen, I get it. I know that this type of swagger and attitude was a crucial component of the Eagles’ identity last season. And they were starting to get some of that swagger back after their win last week in New York. I understand the Eagles trying to get back to the team they were last year. But there’s an old saying in sports that goes, “it’s not over until the fat lady sings”.

Now the important thing to keep in mind about that saying is that we don’t body shame anymore in 2018. You can’t go around calling singing ladies “fat” anymore, not in this climate. So with that being the case, the fat lady never ends up singing since you can’t call her fat in the first place. And if the fat lady never sings, then is the game ever over? The answer to that question–which the Eagles had to find out the hard way yesterday–is a resounding NO.

The game is never over so the Eagles probably shouldn’t celebrate as if it is when there are still 15 minutes of football to play. I’m all for having fun but when your team is 3-4 and you just blew a 17-point lead at home as defending Super Bowl champs, maybe it’s time to get back to business a little before you can handle any more fun. Or take the exact opposite approach after such an abysmal loss. Either way.

Hysterical! “The fat lady never ends up singing since you can’t call her fat in the first place.”

Glad McVay keeps his team composed through all 4 quarters. With guys like Peters and Talib in our roster, you would expect us to pull off these stunts on the field.

Shame. I guess none of their fans will get to eat horse shit this year.

I wasn't posting in the game day thread like I usually do while watching the Eagles. I wished I had been as that was a crazy comeback by the Panthers. Heck, I missed the second TD getting early dinner ready before the Rams game. I thought there was just enough time to make a comeback after that TD. I was in a little bit of shock myself after the game ended with the Eagles blowing a 17 point fourth quarter lead. Didn't mention it to one of the great Eagle fans I saw today. If that were the Rams I wouldn't want to talk about it either. No running game this year for the Eagles. Still hope they don't get Bell. Thing is they are still not out of the NFC Least. Talk radio always interesting after a Eagles loss.

Eagles fans came out of the woodwork last year. Here in Central PA they seemed to be everywhere. Even my step son who doesn't know what a first down is has jumped on the bandwagon. They were so obnoxious with their Facebook posts, and calling into sports radio. I prefer my Eagles fans to be silent.

It was a predictable fall. I thought Doug Pederson got far too much credit for last year. I just can't buy into him being some coaching genius. He sounds like a meathead. Okay, he do want strike me as a strategic wizard. Sure he made some great assistant hires but, I don't believe that he was the guy that guided and coached Foolsgold through that improbable finish last season. No Reich or Dephillipo, no Bueno for Dougie.

As for the fans, here in central PA? They crawled back into their holes. Their heads are still peaking out though.

I know! Can you imagine some poor fool neighbor making the mistake of knocking on his door to tell him to quiet down or I'm calling the cops? Blood everywhere!

I seriously laughed out loud...The sad part for us is that he stopped the video just when it was getting good...Wentz’s drive down to almost win the game...In the red zone and it”s 3rd down an 2, and they pass twice instead of running it......I think we were cheated here, because he didn’t rip down Wentz’s deification picture or the smashing of the TV!

I live in the Philly area, N Delaware, and went out to dinner with my family last night at a sports bar/restaurant. It just happened that one of the waitresses was wearing a Carolina Panther's shirt so my brother said to her, "I bet your tips are't that great tonight with that shirt on?" she said "after coming back from 17 points down in the 4th I don't care!" haha..Oh and yes all my Eagles friends are hiding and crying about the season being over! It's too good out East right now!
