I know there's about a half hour left before kickoff though. Are there any protests or anything that are going to be happening near the dome that anyone has heard of? In other news, Harkey gave the warm up speech a few minutes ago before they left the field. He looked pretty pumped.

When I go, i usually don't leave the tailgate until 11:20 to 11:30, then it can take 10 minutes or more in line to get in. I'm usually not in my seat before kickoff and because I'm having fun at tailgate is why.

I hate to say it, but I fear many people like myself decided to back out of the game prior to the grand jury announcement. There was just too much uncertainty and airfare is too expensive to mess around with.
I grew up in North St. Louis so I never really felt threatened by all the stuff going on, but my wife is from KY and just couldn't get comfortable with it.

SUCKS for real...

Why do the protestors have to keep blocking traffic wherever they go?

Yea, can't they block something less useful...like the parking lot to a blockbuster?

They're very bad at getting the masses on board with their cause. Kind of like taxi drivers blocking traffic in front of Uber's headquarters to protest, all they end up doing is pissing off the people they're trying to sway.

Seriously, they need a good PR firm.

Well I have to hand it to the police. They were ready for this and cleared things up pretty quickly and without incident. The guys in riot gear were there pretty quick.

We sure do, but I fear a lot of these knuckle heads out here wouldn't receive his message. The folks who marched with him back in the day were different people.

You mean that they were truly oppressed instead of the perceived oppression of the current protesters?

Attendance did seem pretty low today. This was the only game this year that I've been to, so maybe it is an anomaly. Compared to years past, the crowd energy was pretty weak. Makes me wonder if the game were more competetive folks might be more enthusiastic.

It was hard to get there today. I have 4 season tickets; was able only to use 2, because of family responsibilities, delayed Thanksgiving dinners, a baptism, etc. Attendance would have been better with a more significant game; but plenty of other things going on.

2 teams that have the 2 worst records for the last 10 years, neither of the above 500 this year, and the threat of protestors, im surprised they got as many fans there as they did.

The threat of protesters was real. We were walking to the parking lot AFTER the game, to see a group of STL finest (appx 30) in riot gear marching toward the dome, because the protesters HAD INDEED made their way downtown.

There was a National Guard presence around the dome, and extra police inside before and during the game. I know a lot of people stayed away because of the threats.

It's just really sad that this continues to go on.

The protests prevented me from celebrating this incredible win with the ROD faithful. Couldn't get online due to work commitments.

As far as the crowd goes, this was the worse game I have ever been to. I was in Section 146 and it was dead.
No exaggeration me and three other guys were the only ones standing and yelling in the entire section. We kept yelling this isn't a Cardinal game get off your asses! Someone actually got security on us.

You guys just cant even imagine the level of disgust I feel towards this crowd. Best game I have ever got to see live and I cant even enjoy it. All I can picture is an entire section sitting there talking and laughing. Imagine only three people yelling first down after the Rams make a first down. I have always defended the STL Rams crowd. Not after yesterday. I am truly ashamed today.
