reading some players tweets about the mike brown case is disappointing. Most of all Pead.

Players have different opinions on different events, I don't see why be disappointed in them. Spice of life and all...

I just can't believe agents allow these guys to make fools of themselves. Oh well so be it.

I understand that they will have their opinion but they are in a position that talking like that can effect their brand. Jenkins lost some fans last night. I would have thought that Fisher would have prepped them.

Can someone post examples?

Racially charged events like this are the worst. People assume something happened based on race when it's usually not the case.

Players can have opinions, but unless they are following it closely enough to know the facts they should keep those opinions to themselves. Actually not just players, everyone LOL.

Nothing to awful bad from Jenks, but reading the comments, people are pissed. But Peads is just an example of the "poor us" mentality going on in that city.

Basically, dumb guys do dumb things. Pead and JJ both have their reps for a reason. Pead should have his hands full not having a career. JJ is displaying the ignorant mentality of many in that community. Scream for the justice system to do what it does, when that course is followed and the result is not what was wanted, whine about it. Nothing against these guys and certainly I pull for them as players, but, no great surprise this is where the tweets are coming from.

It's not just Rams players that have this opinion. It seems like the majority of the NFL feels that way.

Regardless of what the players' opinions are, or whether you agree with them or not, at least they are doing it peacefully.

Looting and rioting serves no purpose, but nobody will say a word about that in the twitterverse.

I'm fine with them having an opinion. They are humans. I just wish they had voiced them differently. Especially Peads dumb ass. He made it racial.

I don't see anything wrong with Pead's tweet. There's some legitimate gripe to be had overall. Maybe not so much here with this situation, but that's usually how it goes. I'd rather them tweet their disappointment than call for violence or hit the streets themselves.

From many of these guys I expected nothing better, I don't put athletes on pedestals or god them up, fact is so many are poorly ego formed because they have been treated as if the rules of behavior don't entirely apply to them .

I have a visceral reaction every time I see Ray Lewis being treated like a hero because he was a great football player but won't tell what he knows about the deaths of two young men the night we won the Super Bowl and goes into jibberish rants every time he's questioned about it.

I think their responses (haven't read Pead's) have merit...it's been said you can indict a ham sandwich if you wanted....Unarmed man gets gunned down in daylight with witnesses....seems shady.

A grand jury is comprised of 16-22 jurors. That's more than your typical 12 with 2 reserve jurors.

It was found that there was no criminal conduct on Wilson's part. If you believe in justice at any level it has to be among your peers. Hate cops, judges, lawyers all you want.

They witnesses that were called in told Wilson's side of the story.

I just don't understand how you (not directing this at you, just people in general) can come to the conclusion that no justice was done. There probably would have been rioting either way.

I'm not into hating too much of anything...more disturbed. Of course I disagree on whether true justice was done when the prosecutor didn't really want to bring charges, but agreed to preside over this matter. Something I would consider a conflict of interest. I was also surprised at the questioning of any relevant portions of Wilson's statements/story by the prosecutor. Specifically the fear he felt, and his unease in policing the community. He also described the victim appeared as a "demon". The lack of actual bruising when supposedly struck 2 times ( I'd read somewhere he claimed 9 times previously) in the face by a 300 lb man is also troubling. I was a lil familiar with the grand jury process, but to be certain I looked this up.....http://criminal.findlaw.com/criminal-procedure/how-does-a-grand-jury-work.html

I wonder why the Gov. didn't have the National Guard in place to prevent the rioting? Seems strange...seems disturbing....More like, a riot will ....I don't know.....Disturbing....is my initial response to all of this....

I was under the impression that Nixon had declared a State of Emergency and mobilized the National Guard. But then I heard on CNN that many organizers feared that the NG would raise the fear of demonstrators, thus maybe prompting them to violence

You're not alone in wondering where the National Guard was! Governor is being questioned about that right now!
