So I was just debating myself on what particular thing I absolutely love most watching our current Rams players doing and have a huge debate. I'm trying to decide what gets me most excited when I see a Rams player achieve or get in a certain position that is absolute must see, analyze every split second, edge of your seat, hold your breath and feel that thrill and excitement swell up in you and I think I finally narrowed it down to that split-second Tavon Austin is breaking into the open field is my absolute highest craziness I get.Knowing any and everything can happen with him in which I'm surprised it's not Gurley with being a former running back.

Anybody got theirs?

That split Second you see Gurley get into the open field or
that flash when you see Aaron Donald get into the backfield...
A QB tossing one long?

It's Gurley breaking clear of the line of scrimmage for me. I also get on the edge of my seat when Tavon gets in the clear also but Gurley running free is a thing of beauty. It reminds me a bit of when Dickerson did the same. I hope to get that feeling when Goff uncorks it down the field.

I'm a sucker for the long pass. First off it's a huge change in field position. Second, it often results in a TD or leads to one. Third, it's a QB driven league and it's a sign that your team has legit playoff odds in its favor. Fourth - my first love of football was in 79 when Ferragamo used to throw the Bomb. Fifth- The greatest show on earth was so fun and was our only Super Bowl win.

I can keep going if you want..

I chose Fisher lecturing the guys on National Anthem protocol.

Just kidding. As much as I take pride in our country, I went with Gurley, but then I saw @Mojo Ram 's video and got pretty jazzed, too. (n)

Although, I love watching our defense play, it's nice to see us with a stout running game. When he makes it past the line, you just have to smile.

My honorable mentions include:

Kenny Britt getting past the corner and open for a bomb.

Mark Barron getting ready to get the sack.

Watching our LT let a defender run by him unopposed to destroy our QB. Or when a ball gets thrown to our TEs or Quick.

Sorry, but after the conditioning I've had watching the Rams the last decade I hold my breath for all the wrong reasons anymore. I hardly ever expect good things to happen lol.

There's something about watching a great back break a long run. I go back to the Dickerson days when he got the ball, hit through a hole and soon those long strides were taking him to the endzone. Great times.

Growing up idolizing Marshall Faulk (part of the reason why I'm a lifelong Rams fan), nothing got me more excited than seeing his footwork and watching him break a long one. For that reason, watching Gurley do the same gets me up and hollering lol. Tavon in the open field and Goff dropping dimes over the top tho are really really close seconds. I pray one day to have a Megatron-like presence at wideout, a guy Goff can just chuck it up to and almost know 100% of the time he'll come down with it..

I vomit evening mentioning it, but living here in New England it was a thing of beauty to see Brady and Moss link up on bombs on a consistent basis. Moss was a rare talent when it came to coming down with the ball over the top. You knew almost every time he was gonna come down with and there was nothing the defender could. Damn I want that...

Well now that they moved the extra point back to the 20 yard line, I am captivated.
Well done NFL, you really nailed that one

I voted for QB and the long ball, because I hold my breath when I'm worried something terrible is about to happen.

Ever since Marshall Faulk and Steven Jackson, I always loved watching them break huge runs against the opposing team. I eventually watched Eric Dickerson's highlight reels. Todd Gurley reminds me of all three of them. Seeing him pull off a huge run makes me hold my breath every time I watch. Here's to hoping he does a lot more on his way to Canton!
