Hey, I'm just spit balling here but why not hire Adam Gase and sign Peyton Manning?

The first might be a possibility. But signing Manning? Please, that's a pipedream.

Gase is going to be the 49ers HC it looks like.

As an OC though, I know Peyton gave him massive amounts of credit and has been calling up every team telling them Gase is a worthy candidate for hire. That's some heavy endorsement.

Maybe they will hire Gase and try to bring Peyton in to start over Colin. Kaepernick wouldn't like that but I bet the rest of the team would rejoice.

Overall I am leery of any OCs who's head coach has the same background. Gase does not fall under this category since Fox was a defensive guy. The guy that does fall under that category though is Quinn, who I think will flop as a head coach this time around.
