Quick notes.

Should/will the Rams take Kalil?
Yes.

If the Rams don't draft a 'playmaker', Rams fans will be up in arms.
Yeah, well, playmakers can be found in the 2nd round or later

Is Saffold a left tackle?
No, I think he's a right tackle.

Whosoever is picking, the Rams need a blockbuster draft.

What was the foundation for building through the draft with your dad and (Bill) Walsh?
It's all about supply and demand. You can find running backs later in the draft. QB, right to the defensive side of the ball, fill in offensive linemen, receivers late in the draft. It's always better to take the QB and the big men early. (OL, DL)

What if Richardson is sitting right there? Jackson is going to be 29 going into next year.
You have to trust your board. If he's rated higher than all your other players, yeah. You have to make sure you rank your players properly. I don't think he's an Adrian Peterson, but you have to consider someone like him.

What could the Rams get for trading Steven Jackson?
It'd be hard to get a lot for him with his years in the league. You could get "something" for him, but you couldn't get a 1 - doubt you could even get a 2. Running backs, especially when they get long in the tooth, it's just hard to get a lot for them.
