Counting Down- Jersey #54

A short list today, compared to yesterday, At # 54 We start with LB Jack Reynolds:
( I know for the most Part he wore #64, But He started w/#54, and, No I don't have any photos of him in it! But..)

Jack was a well spent 1st round pick in 1970, #22 over-all

He Played in 14 Play-Off games for us

And the SB against the Steelers

once he had you, he had you

Odd fact Jack only has "1" Career Sack,
according to 'Pro-Football-Reference.com'
that sack came when he was with the 49ers!

He played in two pro-Bowls, "Both with us, ZERO w/49ers!

Next man up. From the GSOT Days, LB Todd Collins:

Todd only played for us in 1999 & 2000

But he did play in 4 play-off games

Next up, LB Kole Ayi:

This is the only photo I can find of him, maybe someone out their in ROD Land can do better!
He played on the 2001-2002 Teams, and was Traded to the 'Patriots' for an Undisclosed '03 Draft choice!
Anyone have any info on how that went!?

Next up, a good one too, LB Mike Wilcher:
He also wore #94, But I think I missed him in that thread!

He Player for us from 1984-1990

and had 38.5 Sacks

He also played in 10 Play-off games for us!

Next up LB Brandon Chillar:

He played for us from 2004-07

And played 2 games in ' OUR LAST PLAY-OFF SEASON 2004!!'

THAT DROUGHT ENDS THIS YEAR!!

Next up this year, at this time ,we have two player wearing #54; LB Will Herring: ( Sorry only photo I have of him!)

Not a bad Player

And MLB - Bryce Hager:

I don't know if both herring & Hager wearing the same number is a sign one of them won't make it or what!

Wow! That team photo of the '70 Rams really brings back some memories. Had forgotten some of those players and not sure I remembered Elijah Pitts having played for the Rams at all! Great photo!

Here are a couple more for your enjoyment:

LB - Percell Gaskins - 1996

They where probably right in this^ assessment of him

He played 15 games for the Rams and had 1 FR / and 21 TKL's w/ 4 assists.

* LB - Eric Hill - 1998

( Sorry, this^ Rookie card with his LSU photo is all I could find!)
In 15 games he had 1 INT / 1 FF / 1 sack and 59 TKL's w/ 14 assists.

If anyone can find more photos of these Players I would like to see them!!

Just a few stats to add in:

* LB Jack 'Hacksaw' Reynolds - 1970-1980

In his 11 seasons with the Rams and 145 games he had 2 Pro Bowl appearances and 1 SB Win! he also had, with the Rams, 4 INT's for 87 Yds. w/ a long of 49 Yds. and 13 FR's for 18 Yds. and 1 TD!

* LB Todd Collins - 1999-2000

In his 2 seasons with the Rams he played 30 games and had 1 FF / 1 sack / 60 TKL's and 13 assists.

* LB Kole Ayi - 2001-2002

Not much to say here, he played 12 games for us and had 11 TKL's and 3 assists.

* LB - Brandon Chiller - 2004-2007

In his 4 seasons with the Rams he played in 63 games and had 5 passes defended / 5 FF's / 2 FR's / 4.5 sacks / 171 TKLs and 29 assists. Not bad, I too think we should have kept him!

* ROLB - Mike Wilcher - 1983-1990

He played pretty good in his 8 seasons with the team! In 122 games he had 4 INT's for 15 Yds. w/ a long of 11 Yds. 1 Fumble / BUT he had 6 FR's for 45 Yds. and a TD! and he had 38.5 sacks!

* LB - Will Herring - 2014

Nothing here, he played in 12 games and had 4 Tackles.

Now, our Back-up plan for Ogletree!
* MLB - Bryce Hager - 2015-present

No stats so far ...

... BUT! ....

.. He does seem to be around things when they happen!
