Jersey #5 Has some pretty memorable Players! Starting with QB Dieter Brock : (1985)
!% games 15 starts and a 11-4-0 Record
Passing he went 218 of 365 for 2658 Yds. and 16 TD's w/ 13 Int's and a long of 64 Yds. His comp % was 59.7 ( 3rd in the League in 1985)
And he was sacked 51 Times!
The 'Sacks' were surprising considering he had an O-Line consisting of Slater - Harrah - Doug Smith and Pankey!
He had 2 playoff games w/ a record of 1-1
In those games he went 16 of 53 for 116 Yds. Zero TD's and 2 Int's w/a long of 21 and a comp% of 30.2 NOT VERY GOOD!
And he was sacked 4 times.
His one year with the Rams was between QB Jeff Kemp and Steve Bartkowski's time with us!
All of whom were before Jim Everett!
NEXT UP Punter Dale Hatcher: (1985-91)
In 83 games he had 432 Punts for 17,302 Yds. w/a long of 67 he had only 4 blocked in his career and had an aver. of 40.1.
In 1985 he went to the Pro Bowl and He was named an All Pro!
NEXT UP Punter Sean Landeta: (1993-96 & 2003-04)
" For some weird reason I couldn't find any Photos of Sean in a Rams Jersey, even with all the time he was with the team!! I need Help on that!!"
But Because of his stats I had to include him!!
In 82 games he punted 380 times for 16,747 Yds. w/a long of 70Yds. He Zero Blocked and an aver. of 44.1
He went to the Pro Bowl in 1986 and 1990. And was an All Pro in 1986-'89 and '90!
NEXT UP Kicker Jeff Hall: (2000)
Had problems finding a photo for him too!!
But I wanted to include him because he was part of the GSOT era!
In 3 games he made 4 of 5 FG's (80%) and 9 of 9 XP's (100%)
Next UP Punter Donnie Jones: (2007-11)
In 80 games he had 449 Punts for 20,924 Yds. w/a long of 80 Yds. and he only had "1" Blocked! he averaged 46.6 per.
In 2008 he was #1 in the League w/ an aver. of 50.0 and in 2010 he was #1 w/ 4276 total Yds. Punting.
In 2011 he was #1 w/ 105 Punts.
He was a Really good Punter, when we need one!
Great stats BUT... Punter get them when your Team "SUCKS!" ( the Dark years!)
