I'm just going to lay-a-few Good ones on you today, and see hoe many others you can come up with!

I'll start with a Big one! FB/LB/HB - Tank Younger: (1949-57)

He played 9 Great seasons for the Rams

He rushed 682 times for 3296 Yds. and 31 TD's an aver. of 4.8!

He started out wearing #13, Bad Luck for opponents!

He also had 84 receptions for 979 Yds. and a TD.

Not a bad group of guys to play with

He also played in 5 play-off games!


Next up, CB Monte Jackson: (1975-77 and 1983)

( this is the ONLY photo I could find of him!)
He played a total of 47 games for the Rams and had 17 Int's for 259 Yds. and 3 TD's.
He played in 5 Play-Off games in which he had 2Ints.


Next Biggie, FS - Keith Lyle: (1994-2000)

A GSOT Man. he played in 105 games for the Rams

He had 28 Int's for 336 Yds. and ....

two FR's for 94 Yds. and a TD!

And My final biggie for the day, CB/FS - Aeneas Williams: (2001-2004)
(After being with the Cards, he came to the Rams in a Trade in 2001)

He played 51 games for us

He had 9 Int's for 154 Yds. and 3 TD's

He also had ( FR's for 95 Yds. and a TD!

He played in 4 Play-off games and ....

3 Int's for 61 Yds. and 2 TD's

A good Family man!

And then, after 8 Pro-Bowls this 3 time All Pro made the Hall of Fame! ( 2 PB's w/Rams, 1 All Pro w/Rams)

Pro Bowl is mostly selected by fans, All Pro by media, fewer players get All Pro status.

They are both designations that the play played or was selected for the pro bowl! An All Pro means the player was selected by his peers as the best of the best! Hope that is clear enough for you!

I love me Keith Lyle.
I love that picture of Williams after the turnover. Jeff Zgonina and McNabb in the background is so great. Both looking up at the jumbo screen....total joy and dejection.

What's the difference between Pro Bowl and All Pro?

*Pro Bowlers - are players selected to be on the Pro Bowl Teams. Best Players in the NFC and AFC. ( determined by some committee)

* All Pro's - are the BEST League wide, a shorter more select group. Considered better than just pro-bowlers! ( I believe this list is picked by Sports writers, not sure!)

I failed at internetting today, thankfully it's India Pale Ale day and I can sulk about my poor internetting while washing it down with some IPA's.

Sorry this is the only photo I could find of him!Anyone have more!?!
In his 12 games as a Ram he had 1 PR for 1 Yard and 25 KR's for 554 Yds. w/a long of 32 Yds. and a 22.2 aver.

I'm seriously looking for photos of RB - Bob Thomas - he was on the Team from 1971-1972, I have some nice stats on him but no photos! HELP!!
There are also a few other players that have warn #35 we haven't covered!

* FB/LB/HB - Tank Younger - 1949-1957

In his 9 season and "100 games" he had 682 rushes for 3296 Yds. and 31 TD.s w/ a long of 75 Yds. and a 4.8 aver. he also had 84 Rec's for 979 Yds. / 1 TD /a 11.7 aver. w/ a long of 54 Yds. and 1 KR for 24 Yds. In his 5 Playoff games he had 8 rushes for 34 Yds. w/ a long of 14 Yds. a 4.3 aver. / 1 Rec for 6 Yards. and 3 Int's / 26 fumbles / and 6 FR's for 6 Yds.
AND he went to 6 Pro Bowls and was a All Pro in 1951!

* CB - Monte Jackson - 1975-1977 & 1983

In his 47 Games as a Ram he had 17 Int's for 259 Yds. w/ a long of 46 Yds. and 3 TD's and 1 FR. In 5 Playoff games he had 2 Int's / 1 FR. and he went to 2 Pro Bowls and is a 1 time All Pro!

* FS - Keith Lyle -1994-2000 "GSOT!"

In his 7 seasons and 105 games He had some "FARE" stats! 28 Int's for 336 Yds. / 1 FR for 94 Yds. and a TD. / 1 Fumble / 6 FF's / 4 Sacks / and he had 367 TKL's w/ 95 Assists. / he also rushed 5 times for 47 Yds. w/ a long of 20 Yds. / a 9.4 aver. And, before I forget, He was in the Top 10 in the League in Int's in 1996 & 1997!

* CB/FS - Aeneas Williams - 2001-2004
Another GSOT Man and a Hall of Famer!!

He was Traded to the Rams, by the Falcon's for a 2001 Draft pick, #54 over-all!
In his 4 seasons and 51 games with the Rams he had 9 Int's for 154 Yds. and 3 TD's w/ a long of 46 Yds. / 28 PD's / 4 FF's / 1 sack / and 9 FR's for 95 Yds. and a TD. He also had 174 TKL's and 46 assists.
In his 4 Playoff games for us he had 3 Int's for 61 Yds. and 2 TD's. and he went to 2 Pro Bowls with us and was a 1 time All Pro.

* RB - Henry Dyer - 1966-1968

In his 2 seasons with the Team he played in 16 games and had 55 rush Att's for 136 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 15 Yds. a 2.5 aver. he also had 6 Rec's for 123 Yds. / a 20.5 aver. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 69 Yds. / he had 3 Fumbles and 16 KR's for 285 Yds./a long of 29 Yds. and a 17.8 aver. / and 1 FR.

* RB - Tony Baker - 1973-1974

In his 2 seasons with the Rams he played 28 games and had 138 Ru / for 479 Yds. / 12 TD's / a long of 17 Yds. and a 3.5 aver. he also had 4 Rec's for 65 Yds. / a 16.3 aver. w/ a long of 42 Yds. In 3 Playoff games he totaled 4 rushes for 6 Yds. w/a long of 5 Yds. and 1 TD.

* DB - Todd Johnson - 2007-2008

In his 2 seasons and 30 games he totaled 1 FF/ 1 sack / 45 TKL's and 8 Assists.

* RB - Samkon Gado - 2008-2009

In his 2 seasons as a Ram he played in 16 games and had 16 rushes for 30 Yds. w/ a long of 11 Yds. and 4 Rec's for 24 Yds. he also had 1 KR for 23 Yds.

Finally ..
* DB - Kevin Dockery - 2010
