This is early in the morning. But I have to do it now because today is my Grand-Daughters 2nd Birthday and I'll be Busy with that most of the day!!:D

Here we go. this is the 2nd Jersey in two days that is "Retired!" The last Player you will see is the one who's name you'll see LAST!

1st up, WR/P - Pat Studstill: (1968-71)

Studstill1.jpg
Even though he was considered a Flanker/WR he worked as a Punter for us!
he had 298 Punts for 11980 Yds. an aver. of 40.2
He did have 28 receptions for 388 Yds. and 3 TD's an aver. of 13.9

Next up, CB Monte Jackson: (1975-77 and 1983)

Jackson28.jpg

This is the only photo I could find of him, so if anyone has more, I'd love to see them!

he had 17 Int's for 259 Yds. and 3 TD's.
he played in 5 playoff games. and was in two Pro Bowls. he was also named an All Pro in 1976.

Next up CB Robert Bailey:(1991-94)

Robert Bailey.jpg
I wanted to include him, NOT because he only had 5 Int's for 102 Yds. and 1 TD!
But because he had 1 PR he returned for "103 yards and a TD!"

OK! Now! My all-Time Favorite RB Marshall Faulk:(1999-2005)

Faulk15.jpg

He was good in Indy, But Better Here!

faulk2.jpg

7 GREAT Seasons!
Faulk3.jpg
He rushed 1447 times for 6959 Yds. and 58 TD's an aver. of 4.8 with a Long of 71 Yds.

faulk4.jpg

He also had 470 receptions for 4071 Yds. and 27 TD's, an 8.7 aver. and a Long of 72 Yds.

Faulk5.jpg
That's a Total of 11030 Yds. fro scrimmage, AND 85 TD's

Faulk6.jpg
In 10 Playoff games he really nailed it too ...

Faulk7.jpg
.. He rushed 155 times for 561 Yds. and 6 TD's an aver. of only 3.6, But! He also had 49 receptions for 509 Yards, and 2 TD's an aver. of 10.4!

Faulk8.jpg
That's a whopping 1070 from scrimmage and 8 TD's in the Playoff!

Faulk9.jpg
In his career he had 3605 Touches 7th All Time, and he had 19190 All-purpose Yards to put him at 6th All-Time their.

Faulk10.jpg

And he had a pretty good straight-Arm too!
Faulk11.jpg
Love That Smile!

Faulk12.jpg

He went to 7 Pro Bowls ( 4 with the Rams)
Faulk13.jpg

He too believes the Pat's are Cheaters!
Faulk14.jpg

He was also a 3 time All-Pro! and in 2000 he was #1
With 18 rushing TD's!
Faulk1.jpg

And this all ended up with him going into the Hall of Fame in 2011!!

That's all for me, I have to get ready for a Big Birthday party!

I'll check this out for your impute later tonite!! Jump in with your Other players, gifs, memories, comments!

GO RAMS!!

This is the only game photo I could find on Monte Jackson. It's a great picture including another great #28 Ahmad Rashad making the catch.

Just waking up in the morning gotta thank God, I dunno, but today seems kinda odd...
No barking from the dog, no smog, and momma cooked up breakfast with no hog.

Monte Jackson could ball....I often confused him with Harold Jackson....Marshall, Marshall, Marshall......I'd give Mason #28 & Gurley #29....

@DaveFan'51 - thank you for all of your efforts, my friend! I've greatly enjoyed following these.

I don't mean to be a jerk, and perhaps I misunderstood something with your countdown, but I thought we were counting down to the first regular season game for our Rams. If so, we are currently at 31, not 28.

If you countdown is intended for the first real game you are right on target and I apologize for butting in.

Thank you! and in answer to your question, I am counting down to the 1st regular season game, not the Rams 1st!(y)

You can all keep your Eric Dickersons and Emmitt Smiths and Ladanian Tomlinsons and Shaun Alexanders and Jim Browns.

Marshall Faulk is the single greatest runningback I have ever seen in my life.

Here are a couple of Players to add to the ROD archives!
* RB/E - Brad Myers - 1953 and 1956
Brad_Myers.jpg

He also wore #27 besides #28!
He was a Rams 9th Round Draft pick #108 overall in 1953.
I'm guessing the gap in his playing years is because he served in the Korean War!
In his 2 seasons he played in 17 games and had 46 Rushes for 157 Yds./ 3 TD's/ a long of 31 Yds. and a 3.4 aver. he also had 4 Rec's for 13 Yds./ a 3.3 aver. w/ a long of 9 Yds. and 2 Fumbles.
He also had 2 PR's for 27 Yds./ a long of 26Yds. w/ a 13.5 aver. and 3 KR's for 57 Yds./ a long of 21 Yds. and a 19.0 aver.

NEXT:
* DB - Cliff Hicks - 1987-1990
Cliff Hicks1x.jpg
This is the Only Photo I could find of him! But I wanted to show off his stats! Does anyone have one of him in a Rams Uni!?!
He was a 3rd Round pick by the Rams #74 overall in 1987. In his 4 seasons he played 34 games and had 42 PR's for 293 Yds./ a long of 26 Yds. and a 7.0 aver. he also had 4 KR's for 119 Yds./ a long of 53 Yds./ a 29.8 aver./ 6 Int's for 3 Yds. w/ a long of 36 Yds./ 2 Fumbles / 25 Tackles. And in his 1 Post season game he had 4 PR's for 46 Yds. w/ a long of 32 Yds. and a 11.5 aver.

Next: I want to give an Honorable mention because I can't find his photo, But he deserves it!
* RB - Greg Robinson - 1995-1996
In his 2 seasons as a Ram he played in 16 games and had 72 Rushes for 299 Yds./ 1 TD / a long of 16 Yds. and a 3.8 aver. he also had 21 Targets w/ 15 Rec's for 142 Yds./ a 9.5 aver. w/ a long of 58 Yds. and 3 Fumbles.
Does anyone have any photos of him!!

Not starting anything, but you couldn't have ever seen Eric Dickerson.
I would put Faulk at #2 however.
