When I was a young boy...I wanted to grow up and be a free safety like Nolan Cromwell....I still, still blame the super bowl loss on Cromwell, Thomas, and Perry....Nolan coulda knocked down both of those passes...but Perry & Thomas got burned...
Never understood why we got rid of OJ Atoghwe...or however you spell that....
McLeon had some cover skills
John Hadl stats don't really pop, but he could play...
Curt Warner? Are you serious? Wasn't here long enough for a sip of coffee...
Lawrence Phillips....damn man....LA kid...raised in group homes...nuff said....

JJ...Jackrabbitt....time to make all pro....I hope we sign he & Tru to long-term deals this season...Rams have always had solid corners...to me, secondary is where the defense should be toughest..why...passing league now.

Like I said, the ONLY reason I included him was Because of the "Name" or he wouldn't have made my cut! I also figure IF I didn't someone else would, for the same reason!;)

I always felt sorry for Atogwe, I felt sorry for every great player we had that stomached through the dark days. Imagine him on our team right now, I would have a lot fewer worries about the secondary.

Yep. He wasn't a perfect player but I LOVED OJ and thought he would have had his name called for a couple pro bowls if we were a good team during his prime. Shame injuries cut his career short, shoulder issues I believe. BALL HAWK....I have said it back then and ill say it now. I haven't seen anyone better at punching out the football than OJ. Thinking of the Ladell Betts punch out from 2006 Redskins game. Just awesome!..And then the head butt punch out on Colston at the 1 yard line! Awesome! I miss OJ, definetly one of my favorite players post gsot.

OJ Atogwe would be BEAST on this defense. He was a much better FS then McLeod. Should have had multiple pro bowls.
