Not a lot of great names today, But some notables.
I'll start with DB George Sims: (1949-50)
In 21 games George had 10 Int's for 83 Yds. and a TD, with a long of 27 Yds.
In 1949 led the league with 9 Int's! One for a TD.
NEXT UP, HB/DB Charley Britt: (1960-63)
He had 14 Int's for 241 Yds. and 1 TD w/ a long of 73 Yds.
He was very highly rated in 1960!
NEXT UP, SS Richie Petitbon: (1969-70)
In his 26 Starts he had 6 Int's for 56 Yds. w/ a long of 25 Yds. and 2 FR's
He played in 1 playoff game and had an Int. in it. and he was better than his stats reflect, in my memory anyway!
NEXT UP, QB Bert Jones: (1982)
He came here after 9 years of Fame with the Baltimore Colts!
Everyone "Knew" We had our next Great QB!
Not so much!!
He Played in 4 games, and had a record of 1-3 he was 48 of 87 for 527 Yds. and 2 TD's w/ 4 Int's, and he was sacked 8 times.
He and Queen Georgia did bring a lot of press to the Rams games in '82! ...
... Not much else though!
And My Last of the Day, Our Future Back-up, QB Case Keenum: ( Present)
I thought he Played well last night against the Titan's!
And IF he keeps it up he's our #2!
To end on a High note, Case w/ Casey!
I wanted to add QB's Jerry Rhome, and Chris Chandler today, But I couldn't find any Photos of them! If anyone can find some, I'll post stats on them!
