Today I have at least a couple you'll remember!

Starting with, at #16, QB Ron 'Jaws' Jaworski: (1974-76)

Jaws1.jpg

In his 3 seasons here he had a record 0f 3-0-0
( In his next 10 Yrs. in Philly he went 69-67-1)

Jaws6.jpg
While he was here his passing record was, 54 of 124 for 719 Yds. and 1 TD with 8 Int's. ....

Jaws2.jpg

... and he was Sacked 17 times, I think he held onto the Ball too long. JMHO!
Jaws3.jpg

He wasn't bad, and a lot of people questioned it when we let him get away!
Jaws4.jpg

He also rushed 21 times for 82 Yds. and 4 TD's a 3.9 aver. w/ a long of 21 Yds.
Jaws5.jpg

In his 3 playoff games with the team he had 1 start.
He totaled 23 of 45 for 350 Yds. 1 TD and 2 Int's ( the TD was a Rushing TD!)

NEXT UP, " Just because he was Kurt Warner's Back-up!" QB Paul Justin: (1999) GSOT!

Justin2.jpg
His record ...
9 of 14 for 91 Yds. and he was sacked once. ...BUT .. he was Warner's Back-up!

Justin1.jpg

NEXT UP, ( I think you'll remember!) WR Danny Amendola: (2009-12)

Danny_Amendola1.jpg

I Loved him, and hated it when he left! Especially for the Patriot's!!
danny-amendola6.jpg

In his 4 Seasons here he had 81 receptions for 833 Yds. and 3 TD's an aver. of 10.3 w/ a long of 57 Yds.
Danny-Amendola7.jpg

He rushed 12 times for 87 Yds. a 7.3 aver. w/ a long of 30 Yds.
danny-amendola10.jpg
In 5 playoff games he had 14 rec. for 214 Yds. and 3 TD's an aver. of 15.3 w/ a long of 53 Yds.

danny_amendola8.jpg
His value didn't stop here! He had 89 PR's for 934 Yds. an aver. of 10.5 w/ a long of 56 Yds.

Amendola2.jpg
He also Had 118 KR's for 2776 Yds. a 23.5 aver. w/ a long of 84 Yds.

Amendola3.jpg
In 2009 he had 2302 All-purpose Yards to rank #6 in the league!! and ....

Amendola4.jpg
The following year in 2010 he had 2364 All-purpose Yards to rank #1 in the League!!

Amendola5.jpg
This is why I hated it when he left!! Injuries be damned!!

Amendola9.jpg

Although the 49ers, I'm sure where not!
AMENDOLAA.jpg

He had a way about him. and I haven't seen it in N.E.!

LAST MAN UP, Today, WR Emory Blake: ( 2013-Present)

Blake1.jpg
I like him.

Blake2.jpg
I just don't think he makes the final cut this year!

Blake3.jpg
I do wish him well!!

I'll round out #16 with a couple of no name QB's

Milt Plum QB 1968
Plum backed up Roman Gabriel his only year on the RAMS. He only played in 4 game and went 5 for 12 for 49 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.

Dave Barr QB 1995
Barr was drafted in the fourth round of the 1995 Draft by the Eagles but didn’t make their team and got picked up by the RAMS but never amounted to anything attempting only 9 passed and completing 4 for 42 yards in two games, but he left us with this nice trading card picture!

Maybe I'm forgetting something, but when did the Rams make the playoffs when Amendola was on the team?

That's what I was afraid of. I personally just like to think that he retired after moving on from the Rams.

There is that point. BUT!
He could have been the difference maker that put us into the Playoff in 2013!!:shades: ( And then everything changes!!)

I HAVE A MAJOR CORRECTION I HAVE TO MAKE!
I must have been reading his stat line with the Pats, But I misstated his Receiving stats!
* WR - Danny Amendola - 2009-2012
Amendola9.jpg

In his 42 games he had 293 Targets w/ 196 Rec's for 1726 Yds./ a 8.8 Aver. / 7 TD's w/ a long of 56 Yds.
Also, just to add a little more in, His Rush average was 7.3 per Att./ he had 10 Fumbles and 2 FR's and 4 Tkl's.

While I have your attention I might as will fill in some other stats!;)
* WR Brandon Williams -2007
Brandon Williams1.jpg

In his 7 games as a Ram he had 8 PR's for66 Yds. w/ a long of 15 Yds. and a 8.3 Aver./ he also had 22 KR's for 508 Yds. w/ a long of 37 Yds./ a 23.1 Aver. and 1 Fumble.

Again Sorry about the Mis-Reported Stats on Amendola!

I remember the 2012 Redskins/Rams game where Amendola caught the football and fumbled the ball for a Washington touchdown on the opening play of the game. He then redeemed himself with a touchdown on 12 catches in the first half of the game (an NFL record) and the Rams beat the Skins 31-28. It's unfortunate that injuries kept him from staying in St. Louis, but I'm glad he's made a comeback in New England.

One thing I forgot to point out yesterday, here ..
* QB - Dave Barr - 1995
I believe he was our Last QB to wear #16 before Goff! Steve was also a Cal QB!;):D
Dave Barr1x.jpg

In addition to the stats I've already given about Dave, His comp. % was 55.6 w/ a long of 18 Yds. and a 4.7 Aver. / he was Sacked 1 time and his QBR is 67.8/ He did rush 1 time for 5 Yds.
" I just wonder IF Dave is the reason Goff picked #16!/! Someone should ask him!!;):D

#16, the man of the day today, our quarterback, Jared Goff.

1 goff.jpg

He has really shown himself to be a leader...

2 goff.jpg

...and has learned so much under the direction of Sean McVay...

3 goff.jpg

...but be sure, Jared Goff is his own man...

4 goff.png

...and he isn't even close to his potential yet!
