It's not uncommon to see Armadillos here in Dallas. I bet none of y'all knew those fuckers can jump like 3 feet in the air. I pulled up right next to one on the road and tried to snap a picture. It sprang right up in the air. It scared the crap out of me.

Also, peacocks roamed my neighborhood freely growing up. Photo for proof.

Hahaha

I have a 250 gallon tank. Since I was 6 years old I have had a tank... back then I used to catch my own fish and invertebrates from the ocean in Hawaii. I did my water changes with a 5 gallon bucket on my bicycle. The hobby sure has come a long long way since then. Hard to believe I was able to keep anything alive with the equipment that was available in those days.

Are you still into the hobby?

Dolphins.

Free Willy. In the wild.

A murderous Moose.

Bald Eagle.

Peregrine Falcon.

Those are all non-zoo.

Coolest zoo would prolly be a white alligator.

My parrot "Rasta" hangs out on our screened-in porch during the day when we are home. He raises hell with all of the birds who come around. But let me tell you what......... when a bird of prey like a Red Tail or a Bald Eagle fly by.... my boy comes flying into the house screaming bloody murder. He always has one eye on the sky looking out for birds of prey.

Sometimes the ultra light airplanes that land in the water in our lake have the same effect on him since they are coming in so low.

Blimps fly directly over our place during football Bowl season too. The Citrus Bowl is very near me. My poor boy thinks the biggest killer of all time is after him when they fly over..... and they fly slowwwwwwwwww.

Haahhahahhahahahaha
A parrot scared of a blimp , now that would be funny to see

Buffaloes

The wife and I have been out to the Black Hills and Bad Lands a few times , and on a couple of those trips we've encountered some pretty decent size herds of Buffaloes , just like in the video below , it's pretty surreal encounter

Dugongs, dolphins, pink dolphins, Brumbies, bears, moose, dingos and people that live in the north of England. Trust me they are complete animals (although they are definitely not cool).

Wifey and I ran across a few bobcats while hiking on Sanibel Island. Alligators, Matantees and assorted wild life down in the Florida Keys.

Here in RI we have an abundance of foxes, some coyotes, but the c0olest thing was a fisher cat

let me tell you, if you have ever heard once of these things scream, it is a sound you will never forget

I had to live in Fort Leavenworth Kansas for about a year. When you looked out the windows in the back of our house you had an awe inspiring view of the Federal Penitentiary. The only thing standing between the back of our house and that place was a big ass buffalo that lived in the huge pasture that surrounded it. That buffalo was always trying to eat the grass in our yard through the fence.

I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the only one who can say this,,, but I used to hop the fence and break into the Penitentiary. Well, their property anyway. There was a pond up close to the giant walls of the prison. This Florida boy needed a place to fish. There were only pan fish like blue gill in it,,, but I didn't care. That buffalo used to chase me off sometimes though... not the guards, the nasty buffalo.

Trout fishing w/ my Dad about 10 years ago at Woods Canyon Lake (outside of Payson,AZ). I was using a #6 hook in an aluminum boat and had a hell of a time getting it out of the trout's throat, even being diligent. I let it go, yet it floated to the surface flipping around. 5 minutes later down swoops an American Bald Eagle. I swear it levitated in the air about 6 inches from the water then snatched the trout right up!

This was before camera phones and hell we never knew it would even happen!
