Last year I watched Tru go down in camp and it lead to a great season for Gaines.
This year I had a great(?) view of Gaines injury... it felt like dejavu.

Tru is plenty good enough that the outside CB spot should be fine. Hopefully Gaines is ok but if he's out for a bit it would be awesome if Joyner can step up his game and produce the way EJ did last year.

If he tore any ligaments we would've had a diagnosis by now, must be something else. The waiting is killing me....

Not again... please not again. For one damn year can we get through with all starters healthy? No high ankle sprains, strains, etc. We just need a few breaks...

Seems like we always lose a CB in training camp. Hopefully this is just a minor thing and he'll be back.

Would seem like a sprain, taking this long to diagnose.

Meh not tworried about it, if it was something serious it would have been diagnosed by now. Dude just got stepped on and is going to have bruising/swelling/pain. Believe me I know first hand this sucks ass!

Rats....:hellno: this can not happen:palm:!

Truth is Snead/Fisher(at the moment) have one serious skilled defensive squad. They are oozing in young talent in this secondary @ corner & safety. They have many good players looking to see the field during the game, others will be working hard to make the master roster. So the lost of EJ should not cause big ripples in degrading this defense.

As we know EJ was in a battle for a starting outside CB post. If he failed it was most likely he would bump Joyner from the Nickle. If EJ were to go on the shelf for a while or even worse go IR, Several outside CB's should be ready to step up.

Brandon McGee has been here since 2013 when drafted in the 5th rd. but missed most all 2014 season on the IR.

So really McGee (if healthy which he is not) is joining two other talented 2nd yr corners(Lamarcus Joyner & Marcus Roberson).

They also brought in two UDFA rookies in Montell Garner & Imoan Claiborne.

I don't like that they're sending him to a specialist for more tests.
This has leaves me thinking it's for a second opinion.
I'm concerned.

Well at least we didn't trade a valuable future pick to get his twin Morris (Claiborne).

Didn't it take like a day or two to fully diagnose Bradford's 2nd ACL tear? There are other instances I can recall but can't remember who it happened to where it took a day or two to know and when they found it, it was much worse than first thought.

I wouldn't let your guard down just yet.

It was confirmed on early mid Monday where ass it happened on a Saturday night. I'm thinking if Gaines had something serious wrong we'd know by now.
