I keep hearing on sports media it looks like the Whiners might opt out of that contract with Capernick this offseason. I personally don't see it happening but could with the Whiners looking like they will be getting a new coach next year.

So obviously this is a totally hypothetical question, would you be interested in Capernick if he was free agent? Capernick leading our offense and keeping our defense off the field? Would he be worth it?

For the pricetag that comes with the first young franchise QB to hit the free agent market in a long, long time? No thank you.

It would be the ultimate insult to the whiners to win the Super Bowl with Kapernick:heh:

No.

Not only is he sucking in SF, but they have their offensive system built around him that is supposed to be utilizing his strengths. I called it back when he filled in in 2012 that it was the perfect storm. Great D, great OL, great running game. He was essentially put in a similar position as Mark Sanchez in his first few years w/the Jets. Of course the dumb as media and fans made him out to be some sort of prophet. I'll never forget Jaws saying he could be the greatest QB of all time

Nope, the fact that he can't make good drives consistently despite playing with a Top 5 receiving corp and a respectable O-line speaks volumes about his ability to adapt to an NFL offense. I've always feared the possibility of him understanding how to read a defense soundly, now I just laugh whenever a defense generates footsteps on him.

Any new coach coming in would be foolish to just jettison Kaepernick without trying to work with him in their system. Besides the Niners are like every team out there. After No.1 they got shit.

No thank you, I could never even be a little bit tempted by anything from the dark side. They can keep him, and their classless coach. That guy can't even walk off the football field without getting into a scrum. Dear lord I hate the fraudy whiners...

Hell to the no.
The Whiners believed in the golden boy so much they structured his deal in a way they could cut ties easily. There will not be a lot of options so I don't they part ways with him after this year, but, it would not surprise me if he is replaced next year.
Oakland 23 SF 20 this weekend.

If he can't succeed with one of the best supporting casts in the league with a QB friendly HC, then he can't succeed much of anywhere. No thanks.

Depends how much, he's better than what we have now, as a back up to Sam (i.e. a starter come game 3) i'd take him, but look to replace him if there's a better QB available in the draft at some point.
