Thanks, now I understand.
But where would we have been had Schotty got his head out and SB didn't get injured? If I'm gonna wish for something that's what I'd wish for.
Yeah, that would of been much more desirable. It does give us something to look forward to next season. This O with SB could be electric next season and I'd definitely keep KC in the fold and draft a QB to groom. I agree a kid like David Fales could be had in the 5th round.

I've said before; Clemens has especially impressed me protecting the football. I expected more interceptions, for sure.

He's nimble in the pocket and gritty.

His accuracy is still dicey... And he's not pushed the ball downfield much.

At the end of the day; dude has represented the Rams proud.

This^ I concur and he's shocked the hell out of me with his play and his pocket awareness & quick feet are superior to Bradford. I'm all for keeping Clemens because there are some really bad back-up QB's in the NFL. Rams still need to draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round, but keeping Clemens would be fine with me because he's an asset in so many other ways and he's also earned his keep on the field as well.

I don't think any team will sign him as their starter, but he definitely earned himself a raise this year, and maybe a 2-3 year contract.

Heres an example. Just look at Kellen for this play. Ready to BLOCK! :)
Anything for the team!

KC got fairly close to a defender so I'm willing to call it a block lol since he was kinda running interference, like he was escorting him into the end zone. Yeah that's it he escorted him in, like Holt and AZ in that Denver Monday nighter.

He was out there so all kidding aside you have to credit him for the effort.

Yeah in the end all these guys are good,if you put Clemens on Alabama's team people would rave about him,it's no shame to not be one of the 32 best in the world at anything, although I do believe we'd be getting a lower pick if he'd been Washington's starter:nau: :cheese:

As soon as Sam went down, I was fairly convinced that was it for us. A few wins maybe. I wasn't expecting much, just hoping that we could play some good football.

I knew that the playoffs were a long long shot, but what I was more concerned about was that this new young team wouldn't "know how to win" and close games out from winning positions, ready for next year when sam is back.

Thanks to Clemens, this team has continued its upward trend from when sam got injured... He knows the team well, has got the trust and love from his teammates, and he's surprised many (myself included) with his range of passing. As well as being a real nice guy and tough as hell.

Fair play to him, he's done an amazing job in difficult circumstances. I think he's earned the right to stick around next year.

Salute

Totally Agree! He has grown into this team and deserves a raise....IMHO.
