I'm sure many read this article shortly after the draft, but I want to serve it as a reminder to everyone, including myself, who may have allowed Jim Thomas' "sources" comments or Jason Cole's tweets to create a sense of doubt.

Admittedly, all this negative pub was starting to get under my skin so I decided to go back and find blurbs from teammates and coaches who ACTUALLY knew Goff to confirm our initial indications, and ultimately ease my tensions.

Have no fear friends, we are in GREAT hands! Goff is gonna start either next week or real soon and light up this league before you know it.:rockon::rockon:

Oh yea and FUCK you Jim Thomas, Jason Cole, and all your shit sources.. Go home you bums!

Goff is just one more Keenum "4 pick" game from starting.
True that.... I'm sure sure which way to root if this really is the case... Keenum! ‼️

His first pass will be during a game that Case starts. I have a lot of respect for Case, but the difference in ceiling from him to this kid is profound.

Yeah, all those media A holes who want to pile on can suck it. Goff is gonna be great in this league, no doubt in my mind about it.

I liked your post. That said, I dunno that a puff piece on Foxsports.com that mostly quotes his former HC and his roommate, the latter contributed less than nothing to the article other than perhaps impeaching the author's ability.

I hope Goff becomes all world.

I hope folks understand that for me and perhaps others, the concerns about Goff are not so much centered around Goff as culprit, but rather victim... victim of poor planning, poor coaching, poor organizational support.

So, and I'll only speak for myself, if I express concerns about Goff, it's NOT because I doubt Goff's ability, potential or dedication. It's because I have little to no faith in this coaching staff to develop him (or any QB), install a coherent offense or to be able to execute that offense.

So, anyway, I dunno that those pre or post draft puff pieces are any more helpful than the Jason Cole tweets.

How do we know the media is making up sources? Two separate reporters reporting that Goff isn't ready may very well mean Goff isn't ready, or it could mean they are getting bad information or making it up. JT isn't a guy who makes up stuff. Rarely is he the first to report stuff, but when he does its usual reliable. Keemun is underwater when it comes to TDs vs INTs. If the first overall pick was truly ready you would have to think they would have put him in by now with how Keenum has played this year.

I was thinking, the other day, that Goff should come into a game Keenum starts, if for no other reason than it might be easier on his nerves. He won't have a chance to get too nervious, just coming in off the bench! JMO IDK

I hope they play the man....
ASAP

And, I want him to start, get the game plan all week, and do what he's done for 15 years...Lead the team. Case experiment is over. Or should be.

Not when the Head coach is convinced that the incumbent starting QB is playing great and the INT aren't his fault....

If Mad Mike is for him [Jared], who can (reasonably) be against him?
