I was watching the game and had a candle lit and sitting on top of the tower. The candle fell and splattered hot wax all over the monitor, which I got completely cleaned, and the keyboard. But there is still a lot of dried on wax stuck between the keys. Any tips?

Can you pop the keys off to clean between and underneath them?

I used to do that because of crumbs from snacking while surfing

This explanation of how the candle wax got on the keyboard sounds very suspicious. ;)

I've been doing that but it leaves a residue that doesn't seem to be coming off.

I did mention that it fell while watching the game but should add that it was during the fourth quarter. ;)

If it is not affecting the way the keys work, it shouldn't really be much of a problem. As long as grit and other things can't get into it, wax shouldn't be a big deal I don't think.

Yeah, it was just a weird experience. Hot wax can really splatter all over the place. My router went out today so I'm presently on the HP pc with the clean keyboard, so all is good except having to replace the router of course.
