Slightly off topic, but remember when Madden was fun and you could add crap to customize your stadiums? Add stuff like interactive arcades, world class chefs, rain water collection that would reduce the operating cost of your stadiums. I wish they'd bring a fun franchise mode back to that game.

I'd totally take a page from the new Vikings stadium and have on field suites. How kick ass is that? They're going to have suites. That you can purchase. On the sidelines. Rich people have all the fun.

There is a saying.....

The best things in life are free. The second best things in life are very, very expensive.

I think it would be to build a stadium that looked like a whatever century Gothic church. Something like Notre Dame in France but instead of a Cathedral, it's a football stadium!!!!! Not trying to convey football as being some sort of deity just when played right someone is going to beg a deity to save them.

Fine the way it is, just needs that Star Trek teleportation system so I can be beamed up for home games.

The pole dancers would be a nice add on though

Something like Foxboro/Patriot Place. Beautiful open-air stadium, shit-tons of parking, and a very nice, big, all-season shopping and dining experience. Honestly, as much as I hate the Pats, I have to go to at least one game a season. Partly because the venue is awesome, partly because I live a ten minute drive away, and partly because I just need to see live NFL football.

as much as I hate to admit it, but I have been to Gillette many times. And it is a great place to see a game. Was there when Rams played the Pats in preseason 2010 and walked out a 35-34 winner on last second FG

I have only been to a few NFL stadiums. Mostly the old beat up ones. SF, Oak, Jack Murphy in San Diego, the Big A. Going to a newer stadium in Arizona....wow, what a difference. Planning on making the first trip to St. Louis this season.
I did visit the under construction Whiners stadium over a year ago when my son was playing in a baseball tournament in Santa Clara. Looks nice and compact, will be very loud. I did take the opportunity to slip through the fence and pee on the side the building however. Take that.

I guess that big building on the side is for the transporter pads and space restaurant and hotel?

Can we include time travel as well?

Make it so.
You may borrow my TARDIS. If I can fit a swimming pool in it, I can probably have it generate a really nice stadium.

That is sort of the idea I was getting at with my comments about Busch Stadium's "Ballpark Village". Having an area attached to the stadium with lodging, dining, bars, live entertainment, radio/tv studios, and bonus seating (?), etc is a very nice feature that would make the new Rams home a year-round destination.

I know Demoff and the Rams really like Lucas Oil. I would love something like that. I'd love real grass and the ability to open or close the roof depending on the weather. Something that can attract big concerts and possibly a Super Bowl. I do like the concept at Patriot Place too... lots of entertainment / parking / hotels nearby.

A cineplex too.......that way it would be an easy way for a family or couple to make a night of it.

Absolutely, that too. We'll need a huge designated tailgating section as well. I suppose the cherry on top is that the anchor store in the whole design is a ginorourmous Wal-Mart!!! lol.

Also a feature of Patriot Place - one of those big fancy cineplexes with luxury seating and booze.

The Rams seem to be modelling their approach after Indy.

I think Lucas Oil is a nice baseline concept for St. Louis and believe the final product will have strong similarities.

This^

It is nice and I actually got to watch it being built. Indy has a very nice downtown and it fits in there very nicely.

I'd prefer open air and grass like kansas city's Arrowhead. There's just something about being outside that somehow seems "right" to me when it comes to football. Also, its JUST a stadium. I'd like to see the new Ram stadium to be part of a greater design as mentioned above.
