Cardinals coach Bruce Arians has been hospitalized with chest pains.

Said the team in a statement, “After returning home from Minnesota . . . Arians was experiencing discomfort and not feeling well during the night. His wife took him to a local hospital to be evaluated. All tests conducted so far have come back favorably. He remains in the hospital for continued evaluation.”

Arians was hospitalized during the preseason with stomach pain. The incident was attributed to diverticulitis, an inflammation of the colon.

We extend our best wishes to Bruce Arians, and we hope that he’ll receive a clean bill of health and rejoin his family and his team quickly.

Wish him well. I was watching the Tards Queens game with my neighbor (who is an AZ fan) and I mentioned to him that Arians looked like he was going to cardiac out on the sidelines yesterday. His face was as bright red as his jacket.

Palmer is fading fast from what I've seen the last few weeks... Bruce sees it too I'm sure. No wonder he's feeling like shit.

I find it easy to root against NFCW coaches opposite ours, but not in cases like this.

Get well Bruce, so we can kick your team's ass. :sneaky:

The perils of football at the highest levels. Not football related, but I am sure I would be dead if I had stayed at my last job. Some stuff is not worth it. Get well and think about it.

inflamed from an infection. Diverticulitis is like small pockets formed in the colon lining. They often trap food particles and can cause a low-grade infection. A friend of mine has this...Two cures, resection (cut it out) or diet...High fiber...When he eats a high fat diet, or seeds (think the kinds on hamburger buns) it can cause a episode...painful ass hell.

Wish him well. I was watching the Tards Queens game with my neighbor (who is an AZ fan) and I mentioned to him that Arians looked like he was going to cardiac out on the sidelines yesterday. His face was as bright red as his jacket.
I thought he looked like hell too...this season is stressing him out...

see above...it was the colon thingy...

There’s very good news out of Arizona on Monday night. Coach Bruce Arians has been released from the hospital within the last hospital and returned home.

Arians wasn’t feeling well last night. Initial tests were favorable, but he was held for further evaluation.

During the preseason, Arians was hospitalized briefly due to diverticulitis. The 64-year-old two-time coach of the year also has overcome prostate cancer.

The Cardinals, NFC finalists a year ago, are 4-5-1 through 10 games of 2016.
