If Britt leaves draft Amari Cooper at 10. Then get O Linemen in the second and third rounds.

Rams priorities getting oline solved in FA before they look at Britt since they can draft a elite prospects at 10?

Anybody who wants to can disagree, but I think Britt is an important piece...I'd really like to see him stay...

To be fair, how many times did he get wide open and the QB missed him terribly? He should have had two or three huge TD bombs that didn't happen because the QB play was so crap. I remember I think two in one game that Hill missed on him deep when he was wide open.
He seen him. He just knew he couldn't throw it that far. Sorry I just had to do it. Lol

That's fair, I'm not saying it isn't. But like I've said...there have been many receivers that have performed well with garbage QB play.

All I am saying is that he's been in the league for a long time and hasn't netted a 1000 yard season. He's a good player, but I don't think his status with the Rams is really the piece that will put us over the top. We can replace him with a better WR from the draft at 10 if we have the luxury of going that route.

I think as the season wore on Britt got better. I don't know if numbers bare that out but he certainly played more dominantly. I hope that he could pick up where he left off.

I would read into this. Been hearing from Patriot beat writers that the Patriots are interested in Britt. That being said, there are a couple of receivers they have been talking about.

Reggie Wayne, Brian Hartline and Kenny Britt.

New England is stuck with Amendola, Edelman is not going anywhere, they are very happy with LaFell and just drafted Dobson and signed old friend Brandon Gibson. There is not a lot of room there but based on what I have heard locally they will go after Hartline or Britt.

Interesting....

A choice might have to be made by him:
1] Go to the defending Super Bowl champions and play with Tom Brady, being coached by Bellichik and McDaniels
2] Stay with the Rams and the only man who was willing to give him a second chance... but, with brand new QB, OC and QB Coach.
Oh, and Super Bowl is not likely to be mentioned in the same sentence as the St. Louis Rams in 2015.

Let's assume the deal is similar... what's more important?

No way cooper makes it to 10 and if Britt resigns no way we draft wr in first. 2nd or 3rd I could see them drafting a wr

Eh I'll take Crabtree over Britt, Crabs is just all around better and has been successful.

Didn't we re-sign Britt or am I just dreaming?

p.s. It would be absolutely retarded to not re-sign Britt even though we might draft Cooper. Imagine having a Legit #1 and #2 WR again (Holt and Bruce) with a healthy QB and a run game? Yeah that type of offense helps the defense get us to the top.

If you want to pull the fancy-stats crowd into the mix, what would Cooper's value over replacement player Britt be, as compared to say a 1st round offensive lineman over a 2nd round offensive lineman? In other words, what would have a bigger impact on making the team better? Resigning Britt and going with an offensive lineman at 10th overall, or taking Cooper at 10th overall and then taking an offensive lineman in the second round? Even if we subsequently resign Britt, to go along with Cooper, how much of an improvement would that be considering that you are now pushing Bailey and/or Austin to the bench?

Personally my gut says we would be better served going for the higher end offensive lineman at 10th overall, but that's just me. I'm okay with Quick, Britt, Bailey and Austin as my top four WRs. It's not great (yet?), but compared to what we currently have on the offensive line...
