Just heard Cushing was going to be available. Was wondering if you guys thought he would be a fit in Phillip's defense. He did go to USC. Maybe he wants to come home. Just a thought !

Pass, when he isn’t juicing he’s garbage and he’s injury prone. He’s averaging missing 4 or 5 games a year.

In a year where he doesn't miss big chunks of the season due to getting hurt or suspended for juicing he's an average to a bit below average starter. So he's going to have a hard time finding a team barring him coming in with a cheap contract.

I'd rather have someone I can rely on. Even just bringing in a bunch of UDFA worst-case and open up the competition for the spot next to Tree.

I think this is a guy you give a one year prove it contract. Draft a rookie for the same position and see what happens. That is if wade thinks he is worth the effort. You want guys with something to prove.

Cushing is not better than Baron at this point and he misses too many games. There will be better options. Avery Williams, Navarro Bowman, and Paul Poslusny are all UFAs if they are not signed by their teams. All three are very gap sound run defenders. Williams is the best of the three in coverage. Bowman and Pos are savvy vets. Their football IQs would be great on a team that has had its share of mistakes against the run.

I was a huge fan of him in college and when first entering the NFL. His inability to be on the field at this level isn't helpful to the Rams
