Brett Favre and the Rams - Confidence Issues?

Hi guys, nice to meet you all.

I've written a little bit about the Brett Favre thing. I have to say that contacting him smacks of desperation and it can't be good for the confidence of the other QBs. Tell me, do you guys think that the Rams should have consdered depth a little earlier in the season?

I know that it is difficult to get decent back up QBs but the situation, as it stands today, is terrible.
