It does seem like the ball boy will take the fall for this, I hope they at least get him a new job with the Jets/Giants/Bills....or something in that area...

He might, but that will make it look even worse for the Patriots and especially Brady after this press conference today. He accomplished exactly the opposite of his intent today, almost nobody believes him.

Have you watched the Mark Brunell, Jerome Bettis, Brian Dawkins roundtable discussion? Boy, they were brutal!

Was trying to keep an open mind - then I realized that I can easily tell when there is less than a 10% reduction of pressure in my bicycle tires and Brady is several thousand times more familiar with the feel of a football than I am the tire. No way he couldn't detect an almost 20% drop in pressure. He's an out and out liar and if he is not banned from the Superbowl it's a travesty.

The former Colts' QB -- Jack Trudeau -- also doesn't believe him. http://www.indystar.com/story/sport...k-trudeau-weighs-in-on-deflate-gate/22110063/

Which answers my question in the video.

It's inflated *enough* that the ref, ump and line judges wouldn't have noticed just flipping it around, but the players most certainly WOULD have when squeezed and put through the rigors of play.

Just enough deflation to take the deep ball away from Luck or the zip off of his passes (a deflated ball will remain on the finger tips longer) while remaining under the radar of the casual observer and the officials.

Exactly.
Many confuse psi as volume for some reason.
15-20 % reduction is substantial.

Ever caught a fully inflated football that had some zip on it on a cold day? It's a lot harder to catch right? It's slicker. It's harder. It hurts. Kinda like how Les must feel after a dose of Viagra.

One of the questions was, "Do you consider yourself a cheater?"... Brady's response after pausing, "Uh.... I don't think so"... Not how I would've answered that question.
