You guys all sound like Cardinals fans circa 2002. Our fans complained about the local media not giving the team favorable coverage, but the reality is the team wasn't winning and the media was reporting honestly.

When I read Bernie and other St. Louis sportswriters, that's what I see. They write articles that are honest and true.

It's pretty widely known that Bernie and JT have been ostracized by the organization. I'm not sure if that happened to any of your reporters in AZ but it seems to have doubled down on these two's negativity factors. I don't want to discount fan perspective in what you're saying but ole Bern Bern really seems to need to get his snarky little bitch stabs in where simply reporting the Rams woes would have been sufficient.

Bern showed a real disdain for ownership during the time when Stan was buying the team and it only seems to have gotten worse as the stadium dilemma looms. I suppose we'll see if it changes at any point.

Of course you do. You probably know as much about what the Rams are doing as Bernie and like that he cherry picks and omits facts.

Oh I'll admit I don't know too much about the Rams, but when I've read his articles I've felt he is right based on the performance of the team.

I keep reading things like "Brian Quick is amazing!!!" on here when the reality is that his best season is closer to Jaron Brown (our 4th receiver) than Michael Floyd (our 3rd receiver). I see lots of cognitive dissonance on this board that's similar to when Cardinals fans thought we had a good team, but lost all the time be 17+ points (circa 2002).

You can believe the Rams are good, but that should be backed up by at least some indicators. An 8-8 finish is terrible. I know, I was used to that kind of season for years and now I know what a good football team and good football organization looks like. Fisher has had more than enough time to turn things around, and I see many Rams fans don't realize this. In today's NFL, fans should expect to see results within 2 years. Look at the Seahawks and Cardinals. Both were awful and turned around in 2 years. Both required major roster rebuilds. I keep seeing people on this board say that Arians had a lot to work with, but the reality is that the Cardinals have SIX players from pre-Arians on the roster. SIX PLAYERS. That means it was a total roster rebuild.

Did you predict the Cards emergence last season with Carson in?

What was the key to the Cards and Hawks turn around?

I don't think all that many here would actually say that our team has performed well thus far aside from a good part of the 1st game and the defensive effort in the 3rd game. It is not really about Bern stating that obvious fact. It is more how he says it and the fact that he tends to go about it like a little bitch. If he were simply writing articles about the Rams and their woes, I'm not so sure he gets the negative backlash from the fans. For me it is just that he is such a pantload in a lot of what he says. I bet Bern Bern fancies himself a "realist".

I'm sorry, I was busy watching the Rams indicate they are better than the Cardinals and the Cardinals indicate they can't beat good teams... what were you saying?

No Bernie, he thinks Bradford will be bad again this season as the Rams QB. He's just a baseball guy.

.

There were Cardinal fans in 2002?

As opposed to being "dishonest and true", or "honest and untrue".

Please continue posting. I just can't get enough of this shit. :palm:
