Listed in reverse order, Read from the Bottom Up

#Bengals #Rams Film: Iloka INT from centerfield zone blitz. Foles an OK read, awful throw. Ball hung with him arming it falling away.

#Bengals Film: Peko very good movement for his build, particularly laterally.

Film: #Bengals played snaps of dime up 31-7 early fourth quarter. Shawn Williams the 3rd safety.

Film: #Bengals did not disguise coverages much. They just lined up and played. Function of #Rams lack of talent?

#Rams #Bengals Film: Dennard INT TD as bad as it gets by a QB. Foles improvised movement left threw back across body and field vs. Cover 2.

#Rams Film: #Bengals did excellent job vs. Austin misdirection after getting burned early. Not unexpected that a D would adjust to this.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Atkins sack was vs. slow developing PA downfield concept with moving pocket. Atkins won early and late vs. RG Wichmann.

#Rams #Bengals Film: Nelson red zone INT product of Foles throwing high and behind Cook vs. Quarters coverage. Tipped ball.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Dunlap sack propagated in part by Atkins bulling the B gap hard enough tie up RT.

Film: without Austin misdirection #Rams, in terms of design, would be an almost flavorless offense.

#Rams #Bengals Film: Austin 5-yd end-around TD was from tight slot trips to closed formation side, LOS TE Cook blocked Kirkpatrick.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Also on Austin 60-yd end-around, FS Iloka misread the action and pursued Gurley

#Rams #Bengals Film: Austin 60 yds was end-around off wildcat to Gurley. Jared Cook excellent playside block and drive on Reggie Nelson.

#Bengals Film: Atkins flashed in run D. #Rams due to all the injuries have arguably worst interior OL in NFL.

#Bengals Film: Rey+Lamur were the nickel LB’s on game’s first 3rd-long. On 2nd-8, nickel LBs were Maualuga+Burfict (better run defenders).

6 of the 7 longest-tenured NFL head coaches do not call plays on O or D, they leave it to coordinators. Coincidence?

Film: one big reason Iloka doesn’t play box is #Bengals employ a ton of split-safety concepts. So no safety plays the box.

Q from the film: would #Bengals ever consider making Iloka the SS, Nelson the FS? Iloka has size and played man-to-man as CB in college.

#Bengals Film: Iloka excellent 3rd-short stop as box safety on “90 flip” to Gurley first series.

Film: #Bengals OL kept #Rams pass rush and blitzes quiet.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Green 18 yds was tight split post vs. Cover 2. MLB Laurinaitis opened to other side, Dalton attacked that window.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Hewitt key block on McDonald on Bernard 45-yd backfield screen. Hewitt was a crucial, dominant blocker this game.

#Bengals Film: Dalton took a few foolish chances – end zone throw to Fisher (near INT) and INT to Jenkins most glaring examples.......Both cases here Dalton was on the move late in the down.

# Bengals Film: RB Hill still not consistently hitting it downhill with decisiveness.

#Bengals Film: another key on Eifert 22-yd TD was Dalton pump fake holding FS for split second.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Eifert 22-yd TD brilliant design. 6 OL set, Hewitt motioned to plus-split WR, bringing Cover 2 CB Roberson w/ him....Hewitt ran in-breaker impacting “under” defender McDonald just enough to give LOS TE Eifert the seam.

Film: #Bengals ran “power” both directions w/ Zeitler and Boling pulling. Got run going a bit. Many teams have 1 G who can pull, CIN has 2.

Film: #Bengals OL really struggled early on to generate movement in run game vs. #Rams DL and LB’s.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Keys on Jones 30 yd end-around: Green double-back block on CB Jenkins and TE Hewitt completely handling contain DE Sims

#Bengals Film: Fisher snaps as movable piece in 6 OL.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Hewitt 21 yds was LOS TE seam routes on both sides vs. Cover 3. Run-action impacted LB Barron to that side.

#Rams #Bengals Film: in pass situations Jenkins traveled with Green when Green aligned outside. Roberson took other side.

#Rams Film: Fairly continued to look good in run D. This time holding ground at point of attack.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Green 9-yd TD was coverage mistake by Jenkins. He played Cover 2 trap, everyone else played Quarters.

Film: #Bengals might be best opening drive team in NFL. Always diverse array of formations.......presnap motions (which tip-off the D), run/pass balance, misdirection and route combos.

#Bengals Film: Eifert 15 yds was sharp TE screen. #Rams in 2-shell rotated to Cover 3, making defenders in retreat mode, easy to block.

#Bengals #Rams Film: Hill 15 yds on first play was lead-dive with double-team at POA, Hewitt blocking LB Laurinaitis.

Yeesh. Much telling stuff.

Film: #Bengals did not disguise coverages much. They just lined up and played. Function of #Rams lack of talent?
Don't have to respect them on the field... just line up and know you're better.

#Rams Film: #Bengals did excellent job vs. Austin misdirection after getting burned early. Not unexpected that a D would adjust to this.

Film: without Austin misdirection #Rams, in terms of design, would be an almost flavorless offense.
Is this by design or necessity? Can you have "flavor" in an offense without an O-line that can block or a QB who can throw and read defenses?
#Bengals Film: Atkins flashed in run D. #Rams due to all the injuries have arguably worst interior OL in NFL.
..."arguably"?

Film: #Bengals ran “power” both directions w/ Zeitler and Boling pulling. Got run going a bit. Many teams have 1 G who can pull, CIN has 2.
In theory, if they're healthy and up to NFL speed, could Saffold/Brown be an athletic, pulling pair of Gs?

This was something I think Schotty was good at, although his 2nd-and-on drives lacked any sort of creativity.

TL:DR, outcoached, outgameplanned, outtalented, outscored and outmatched.
