NASHVILLE — The Rams will be without starting inside linebacker Mark Barron, as he’s inactive for Sunday’s game against the Titans.

Barron did not have an injury status heading into Sunday’s game. Though he left last week’s 42-7 victory over the Seahawks with a knee injury, Barron was listed as a full participant in Friday’s practice. Head coach Sean McVay said the weather impacted Barron’s knee in Seattle, and it’s also currently 42 degrees in Nashville.

Also for the Rams, outside linebacker Matt Longacre is inactive with his back injury. Carlos Thompson is active and expected to take Longacre’s place in the defensive rotation.

On the other side, Titans starting cornerback Logan Ryan is inactive. He was listed as questionable for the contest after dealing with a hamstring injury all week. Tennessee also placed its third cornerback, LeShaun Sims, on injured reserve this week.

Below is the full list of inactives for both teams. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m. PT.

OLB Kasim Edebali

I can relate. When it gets super cold outside, my elbow starts hurting like a MFer.

Bummer..next man up! we'll see how valuable he really is to our defense or perhaps his cap replacement is already on the roster?

Littleton has been getting a lot of practice time.
I’m hopeful he will be fine.

Posted on this yesterday. Barron must have an unhealthy damaged knee. Missing all of Training Camp & pre season & slow to get up to speed in the first few games.....then as the season runs on & the weather gets cold he now misses 2 big games with knee soreness? Cory Littleton will once again have a good opportunity to show hat he has as an ILB'er in the playmaking post for this Ram Defense. {CL $545 K vs MB $11mil}.

Mark Barron was a full participant in practice on Friday and didn’t carry an injury designation into Week 16, but he’s surprisingly inactive for the Rams against the Titans. He headlines L.A.’s seven inactives for Week 16, which features two key contributors at linebacker.

Full list of #LARams inactives:
RB Lance Dunbar
LB Mark Barron
DB Isaiah Johnson
RB Justin Davis
OT Cornelius Lucas
OLB Matt Longacre
LB Kasim Edebali

Matt Longacre had been ruled out already on Friday, so that’s no surprise. However, the Rams are now thin at linebacker. Cory Littleton will get the start in Barron’s place, while Samson Ebukam and Connor Barwin will see increased snaps outside.

Barron was dealing with a knee issue following last week’s win, and has battled lingering injuries almost all year, but it’s still surprising that he wasn’t able to go after being a full participant Friday.

None of the other inactives are shocking, given the fact that most have been inactive for the Rams all season.

As for the Titans, Logan Ryan has been ruled out, so they’ll be without two of their top three corners, LeShaun Sims, included. He was their only injury question mark heading into Sunday’s game.

Injuries are getting a little worrisome. Barron and Longacre both out hurts the defense. Stay healthy Rams.
