If GZ could do onsides kicks as well as Money, he could become the GOAT place kicker.

Congrats to GZ for sure..........what a weapon.

And Ken you are right, Money was the best I've seen at the onsides kick.

How good of a year is GZ having??? Man he has just been nailing it. Although, that 63 yarder last week failing so short was a little embarrassing for "LegaTron".

" Time to go cast another vote for him voting him into the Pro Bowl!!" (y) Have you vote Yet!!?!
And just remember, there was a time not too long ago where Rams fans, many around here, wanted to kick Greg to the curb. Much like has been talked about with some of our inconsistent young player Greg wasn't always reliable. But the Rams stuck with him and coached him up and now we're reaping the rewards of that patience.

First player in NFL history with back to back months as special teams player of the month.
Which will make sense when we look back on his record breaking season in a few weeks.

{yawn} Oh, you mean that silly desperate play teams like the Saints do after a garbage time touchdown at the end of a game. Yeah. No thanks. :sneaky:

No, I mean that play that can win you a game when you're down 9+ points late in a game and you're attempting a comeback. Of course if your team is so good it's never behind like that late in a game then being able to execute a successful onsides kick is not important.

I still get a little nervous when GZ lines up for a kick... but that’s slowly shifting to the same confidence I felt with Wilkins.

GZ has been absolutely amazing. He’s among the best in the league right now.

We have a stunningly good kicking tandem on this team. Enjoy it!

I agree Ken. I was just busting your balls. The Rams have lost a few games, and could have benefitted from some better on-side kicking in recent years. But GZ sure is focused this year!
And now, let's all enjoy this fine effort:

All this talk of Greg kicking onsides made me wonder. What if Greg just kicked a low line drive ball right at the wall of players. He's got some power. I can't imagine that being a very catchable ball seems more likely to bounce off of one of their players.

Johnny Hekker: "Stage fright! Young kid still has to learn to play with the nerves like an old timer like me! He's getting there, but he ain't the Great I Am yet!"

Greg: "Not to worry! Next 60+ yarder attempt, I'll just imagine I'm kicking YOU!!!"
