This week is a bit of a yawner looking at those early games.

As we battle for that 3rd wild card, Rams fans want to see Green Bay upset by Detroit.

Minnesota should beat Washington. Miami should beat Chicago.

As far as winning the division… It will be hard to root for Arizona to beat Seattle, but that is the better outcome for the Rams.

Seattle at Arizona, 4:05 p.m.

I wish this game wasn’t in the same time slot as ours.

We play Arizona next week.

Seattle plays Tampa next week.

This week is big for Arizona and Tampa... They’ll be either 3-6 and limping into next week, or 4-5 feeling they are back in the mix.

I want to see if the Hawks can beat a rejuvenated Cards team, now that Hopkins is back. They look improved recently and the Seahawks most impressive wins are versus an underachieving Chargers team, and a Giants team whose most impressive win was against the Titans in week one. I'm still not buying the Seahawks as division leaders due to their schedule.

Otherwise the Chargers vs Falcons could be interesting ditto Sunday night with the Titans vs the Chiefs.

Monday night could also be fun if the Saints find their defense against Baltimore.

The Hawks are dangerous enough to beat you if you get sloppy. Geno is playing very good ball and he does have some weapons. The question mark is how well their defense will play any given week. If the OL settles down and just plays decently the Rams can sweep them. I'm looking at the Rams going at least 12-5 or11-6 this year. That should get them into the playoffs. As we saw depending upon the seeding it can be better finishing the top wildcard seed than a division winner. Won't be able to tell that until the last couple of weeks of the season. I see no reason for Ram fans to be in a panic.

I really hope they play Nsekhe at LT and move Jackson to LG. That gives them only one weak spot at RG. I think Akers will play as he is better than Rivers. I'm not sure if they have activated Williams yet. Akers gives them the luxury of taking their time with Williams.

Critical week in the NFL for some “big boy” MFC teams. It would go a long way for the Rams season if they can beat the Tampon Brady Bucs. And the Green Bay Dookies lose to the Jared Goff-led Lions.

I’ll probably have that one on, and Buffalo / Jets.

If GB loses to Detroit… :laugh4:
