When it comes to Harbough or Carrol? If they were on other teams, would we respect them more? I find that while I hate Jim, I like John Harbough. Carrol has a personality that I think would be pleasant if he didn't rep the seashits.....just kinda was wondering if we only hate due to the rivalry.

Funny you should say that, I agree and ya know my brother and I are sorta like that, he takes every slight personally ,blames the refs constantly but is a consummate teacher and his players do well.
Me I don't yell at players, I just tell em if your willing to take an ass kickin ,g-head ,I'll tell ya what your doin wrong, but if you don't want to learn ,I can't make you want to.
He gets some people I would never get to perform well, but he runs a lot of guys I could keep off .

Carrol is a douche, you HAVE to GIVE Harbaugh credit , he didn't leave a shambles behind when he left Stanford the way Pete did, f him I have zero respect for him and considering the financial stature of his employer, I would be completely unsurprised if years from now it was discovered they were cheating on the cap the way DeBartolo did.

I don't like either Harbaugh. The Baltimore whines every time a call doesn't go his way (something fans do) and the SF one is just a jerk.

Also Petey Carrol is meh...can't stand him.

Believe me, I spend a lot of time biting my tongue regarding Carroll. While I understand (to a point) the personal feelings and opinions.....whether you hate him or love him, his players (both college & pro) LOVE playing for him....I guess that makes all of them wrong...................or not.

Bottom line is that Pete Carroll is a successful coach and his players play their ass's off for him. His record over the past decade speaks for its self and please, please spare me the cheating crap. It's a gross exaggeration.

I can respect your loyalty to the guy. But I'd still like to run at him, take a crow's hop, and unload a roundhouse right to the middle of his teeth on the descent. Send that bubble gum flying about 15 yards and 3 of his teeth 20.
