If my math is correct, they would have to eat $30.8 million (-$4.2 million net) if they trade him before his roster bonus is paid. If they trade him after, they would have to eat $34.5 million (-$7.9 million net). Basically, it's extremely unlikely they trade him, unless they are going to blow everything up and tank.
