I realize the Rams have a LOT of upcoming salary cap issues to deal with but I am hoping that they can somehow extend Suh! I just think Suh and Aaron Donald are going to be something special together next season and I would like to see them together for the long term (I know! I am just dreaming!)!

I think .. with team success and his own "beyond football" ventures success ... it could happen. Obviously he won't get "top $$" So he would have to see other "options" that are appealing to him.
Possible ... but 40/60

The thing is, if Suh dominates the way we want him to, he will be with more money and years than we want to give him imo .So we either get a high quality version for a year or we get a not so high quality who might return

Most likely one year deal for Suh. If he has Pro Bowl Year his price will skyrocket. If he has anything less Rams probably will be inclined to move to Plan B. Need to draft a quality NT to prepare for Plan B.

Rams are open to extending Ndamukong Suh beyond one-year deal
3 stats to know about new Rams DT Ndamukong Suh
With Suh, however, this could be a multi-year relationship. Despite only inking him through 2018, Sean McVay didn’t shut down the idea of keeping him beyond next season. Of course, that depends on his performance, the Rams’ financial standing and Suh’s asking price in 2019.

“We wanted to be able to acquire a player of his caliber. I think that was something we both felt good about with the one-year deal,” McVay said at the coaches’ breakfast Tuesday. “If he’s able to do the things that we expect – and I think that he anticipates, as well – this is something that we hope to extend past that one year. I think in this league, you take it one year at a time. We felt like it was the best for both sides. … We’re excited to have him on board and we’ll see what happens.”

You know I think if we go to SB I could see it. He knows already he won’t get top dollar here but a good, fair salary but he’ll be able to keep adding to his legacy with rings. He’s already busted the bank with his previous contracts.

I believe we're gonna have over $100 Million in cap space after next season. We're going to have to find a way to spend some serious jack.

Anything is possible. A lot of factors go into it of course. This coming draft could play a big part in it too.

I can see a super unlikely scenario where Suh falls in love with this team, coaching staff, and being in LA and takes a pay cut to stay. Other than that I really doubt we’re able to keep him unfortunately

If the Rams are extending anybody it should be their two younger D lineman who are right in their prime years, both coming off their best seasons. Brockers is 27, Donald 26. That's where the $$ should go.

It's hard to imagine the money working.

We have a boatload of younger players to try to sign.
