Ants

I live in central Missouri, the ants are terrible. We have ants all over our damn house, my home is very clean, I think my wife has OCD. We have tried the raid crap, we have had an exterminator leave traps around the house. We moved the trash can 100 yards from the house....anyone know any tricks? No of any real solutions? I'm not the only one, many of my customers and employees seem to have the same issue. HELP!!! Lol

Nothing you can do. We get sugar ants too and nothing works.

This recipe right here i used this year. Ive been trying a miriad of diff ways to rid myself of ants effectively without deadly pesticides to use around my 4 year old.
And i will say i did this once and i dont have any more ants in the house. So i took it out to my woodshop same effect. In less then 2 nights ant prob done

The only thing I have tried that works is to follow the stream of ants to where they're coming from outside - then - and I'm serious here - take lighter fluid and squirt it in their hole and back down their trail. Don't light it. Just let it dry. There may be several of these nests so you may have to do this a few times. We had ants real bad down in CA and this was the only thing that actually worked. They've taken all the real ant killers off the market.

Sprinkle salt where you see them the most.

Do this seperately from the salt but pouring vinegar around countertops works too.

But those are temporary fixes. For a more long term, get a termite guy to treat your house. Kill 2 bugs w/ one stone...termites (if anything it prevents them) and ants. We had our house done in April and haven't seen an ant since.

I heard if you put out cornmeal it zaps them pretty quick.

I got them in my condo everywhere and here is what worked.

Terro ant traps. They were gone in a day and let me tell you I was frustrated as hell with them. But so you know it brings them out in droves. Within a few hours of placing the traps there was a stream of them that had me concerned. They were gone the next morning. I've recommended those traps to a couple of people and they got the same results.

I also has those black and red ants around the outside of my place. I put out one of those traps and within two days there were shitloads of dead ants on the ground.

Haven't seen either kind around since then. I am Antslayer. Say my name!

go organic,..... sprinkle some oatmeal..not the instant kind. When they eat the oatmeal it expands from the moisture in their stomachs.


Cinnamon also screws up the trail they leave behind for other ants
