I'm really just looking at the last WC spot at this point. It's safe to say we'll be 2-3 games out after the bye week. We have to consistently play like we did today to even have a chance but we are not out of it. I think it's a big stepping stone that the Rams are playing very tough football against good teams without their star QB. This team will be primed for next year, but this year is still fun, too.

Four more wins and we top last year's win-loss record. Five or six more wins, and we are in playoff contention. Yes, it would mean beating both SF and Seattle in their houses, but do we really have a problem with that?

Alright... let's just talk about THE DRAFT SOME MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a great idea! Stinkin' draft in November!

When have you ever seen me talking about the draft sir?

Just saying that talking playoffs while Rams are sitting at 4-6 is a bit of a stretch...now if they get to .500 football , well by all means carry on ;)

Unless you are in the NFC East, the rest are chasing Carolina's spot.

Carolina, Chicago, Green Bay, Philly, and Arizona are the ones in front of us. None of them are rock solid right now.

Carolina: over-rated
Chicago: inconsistent
Green Bay: very different team w/o Rodgers
Philly: streaky
Arizona: they're the cardinals

Lol I agree with you, man. Wasn't really talking at you. I just hate scouting the college players in November. In a perfect world, it wouldn't even be a conversation until maybe mid February...

Agree completely, CGI. I think Rams and Bears are very similiar teams, actually. Both are wildly inconsistent and you don't have a clue on what team will show up on either side. A blow out either way, in two weeks that is, wouldn't shock me a bit. In fact, no Rams game shocks me anymore. They're capaple of anything and yet can underperform with the worste. It's been that way all year. We just have to KEEP bringing it which is something that hasn't happened, yet. If only Sam was here...

If you want to know how possible a turnaround is, you don't have to go back farther than last year. The Redskins were 3-7, won their last 6 and won their division. The Rams have a tougher road, but there's some symmetry possible. Wouldn't it be odd if the 2 teams involved in the RG3 trade, um, traded places in the playoff momentum department?
