I guess Snead just couldn't resist sneaking in one more Auburn player.

I feel like they aren't bluffing about GRob lol. In matter of fact why not bring in a fellow Tiger to be your replacement.

Good. I could give a flying shit if Greg Robinson is our #2 pick from years ago I'm tired of his shitty play. I could care less who shores up the RT spot just as long as Goff and Gurley can do what they need to do I'm fine with whoever.

Bring back Kyle Turley!

OVERVIEW

Kozan and the McCaffrey brothers, Christian and Max, helped Denver metro area Valor Christian High School win multiple state titles. He considered going to Iowa, but eventually signed with Auburn as a four-star recruit. SEC coaches named him to the conference All-Freshman squad one season after he redshirted, as he started all 14 games at the left guard spot. Kozan missed the 2014 season due to a back injury, but returned to lineup on the left side of the line for all 13 games the following season. He completed his career as a War Eagle by winning second-team All-SEC honors, again starting every game at left guard.

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS
Functional movement as pull blocker. Plays under control with skip-pulls and generally operates with good radar to find his work. Technically sound player. Plays under control with efficient feet. Operates with good timing on combo blocks and rarely gets cheated on secure block. Understands athletic limitations and adjusts his second-level angles accordingly. Has adequate core strength and can battle back against power players. Able to sink and anchor against bull rushers. Coachable and consistent.
WEAKNESSES
Is a little fleshy around the midsection. Below average athletic ability. Plays with some leg stiffness when asked to move in space and is labored out of stance in lateral movements. Will struggle to get to his reach blocks and win. Can take early losses when matched against athletes at point of attack. Feet are sluggish laterally in pass pro. Will lunge a bit rather than mirror when rusher gets to his edge. Would generate better arm extension with quicker, more compact punch.
DRAFT PROJECTION
PFA
BOTTOM LINE
Scrappy guard with average power and limited athletic ability who still finds ways to maintain a level of consistency as a blocker. Kozan doesn't have any of the physical or athletic traits that will help him stand out, but he's a coachable tough guy who should find his way into a camp and put together some solid reps. If Kozan can take some snaps and offer center flexibility, that might help his chances to make a roster.

Read the last line.....If Kozan can take some snaps and offer center flexibility, that might help his chances to make a roster.

I was looking for college center experience, but couldn't find any, although he may have no trouble with a transition if necessary.

CAREER | Played and started 40 consecutive games, a team high ... Auburn’s offense averaged 269.0 rushing yards and 441.5 yards of total offense in the 40 career games that he has started

2016 | All-America second team (Sporting News) ... All-SEC first team (AP) ... All-SEC second team (coaches) ... All-SEC third team (Athlon, Phil Steele) ...Third-year starter at offensive guard … 40 career starts, most on the current team … team captain … SEC offensive lineman of week (Arkansas) … National Football Foundation postgraduate scholarship nominee … Sporting News midseason All-America … Preseason: Outland Trophy, Senior Bowl watch lists … all-SEC first team (Athlon, SEC coaches, SEC media, CFN), second team (Lindy’s), third team (Phil Steele) … CoSIDA Academic All-District ... East-West Shrine Game ... SEC Academic Honor Roll

2015 | Returning starter at left guard … has played and started 27 games ... game captain: Mississippi State … Outland Trophy watch list … 2nd team preseason all-SEC (Athlon, Phil Steele) … 3rd team all-SEC (SEC coaches, SEC media) … received his bachelor’s degree in May, 2015 … first team CoSIDA academic all-district and on the ballot for Academic All-America ... SEC Academic Honor Roll and Academic Top Tiger

This will be a no Bullshit competition unlike any we've seen in RAMLAND for many years at almost every position. I don't think but maybe 5 people are a lock to make the cut. Some probably even due to loss of money if cut. It will be exciting as injuries will have the biggest impact on the way things end up. I'm sure many here will probably not agree with the cuts but we also won't have access to all practice films and weightroom efforts.

Kozan is at a major disadvantage with the core group of returning OL and our two Free Agent signings along with GRob . Conditioning will be key and our UDFA's that were looked at before the draft will be given a great look. So glad the Fisher rules of no rookie starters and only players who can play the most positions can make it,ARE GONE. The best FIVE will be on the field is how it should have always been. Hate we may have lost a couple players from last season this coaching staff may have made into future studs. As in our supplemental draft pick I really thought would pan out.

This whole team is gonna get refreshed and reinvigirated. Practice squad is gonna be a major decision. Big Big decisions ahead. You better not show up out of shape and these OL that come in with any experience in the pro's and had time to get that NFL weight room and off seasons will be priceless against a rookie like Kozan. Things will have to fall his way like dominoes for him to make this squad. Maybe practice squad is shooting high. We are cutting and bringing in players non-stop as of now. Better be focused and stay healthy not missing anytime or reps. GO RAMS!!!

Fisher's discrimination against playing rookies did hurt development for a number of guys, although Goff should have remained on the bench throughout the season imo, that was a Fisher panic mode move to save his job imo. Starting poor vets over rookies is relatively pointless when your coaches are completely inept at coaching the young guys up. The OL was a bit different as Fisher started middle and later round players because of injuries, again without proper preparation. Still, the point is taken, he didn't like getting rookies into the game. Besides all the other obvious points made about Fisher's coaching 'style', he would rarely raid another teams practice squad, even when depth was ridiculously bad a certain positions, he valued his own 3'rd tier guys above all others. There is value to loyalty, but when your team completely sucks, watch the film and see if someone elsewhere can do better. jmo.

Right on with "shake it up" when you suck. Start shaking when you have 100 options, like right now. Coach is going to filter out the diamonds in the rough. Cheatriots do it every damn year. Former Ram Amendola still blows my mind as one of those diamonds we found. He's now a household name due to sure hands but is nothing special at first glance. Injuries abound with Danny, but for 6 games, he's good. Here's hoping Kupp has similar or better stats at the end of the day and better health.

This is just a camp body at the moment...If he can snap, he might have a chance to stick on the PS. No way, shape or form is he G-Robs replacement.

Good!

I would hate to think that McVay, Snead & Kromer at this stage of the game should go out & signed a clone (REPLACEMENT)or a new GRob type OL'er so this OL'er can give Ram fans three seasons like GRob has given us since 2014. Then on top of that paying that player 22 million for that performance should never be repeated again.

My question is, Who is getting cut to make room for this guy!? Or What UDFA isn't going to get signed, so we can sign Kozan instead!?

That question remains, but the closer we get to OTA's and after we will see who will be cut and be able to make proper determinations. Seems like the cuts are happening now already. They may want to install the talent now instead of waiting for later.

My point was, Counting Kozan, and adding in all the other UDFA's the Rams would have 92 Men on their Roster. Two Players have to be Cut from the Roster! Will it be UDFA's that aren't signed yet, or Players that are on the Roster!?
