Can the Rams organization restructure Bradfords contract, if he is indeed out for an extended period of time, in order to free up some cap space to sign another QB?

YOu can always restructure a contract if both parties are willing but why would Sam be willing?

I would think extending him at a reduced rate beyond the end of this contract would be about the only option.

Here is reality. There are no sure things in the draft. There will be no difference makers coming free in FA.
The Rams can resign Sam or start from scratch.
Which will mean another half decade of losing.
