I'm not an LA troll, I live in AZ, so it doesn't bother me either way. I just want to see the dome filled with Rams fans instead of Bears fans when we play. Its disheartening to see half the crowd rooting for the other team in certain games.

There was a whole lot of Blackhawk fans at the Blues game a little bit ago and they're in 1st. Same as there's a shit load of Cub fans every time they play in Busch, and a shit load of Cards fans in Chicago every time we play in Wrigley. It's an age old rivalry dude. Most of the tickets were bought by Bears fans at the beginning of the year, and considering we had little to no playoff hopes, no Sam Bradford, and the team has the on going worst decade in the history of the league I'd say they've been getting pretty good support. The whole city wants the team to succeed, there's just a large amount that want a little more incentive to pay for tickets.

There's still also a large "diehard" following of the team too. The dome was fucking rocking again at times this year.

Why is watching a game at home better than watching it live? Surely nothing beats watching it live? Especially during a playoff match!

Edit: Ahh i get what you mean, better value for seeing it at home.. my bad..

I still dont get how its not selling out though... People would sell there own mother to get a ticket to a big football game over in the UK?

IDK either. You would think watching a playoff game should mean something. Especially to fans of teams like the Rams Raiders or Browns who are dreaming of their playoff days again.

I thought the Packers had a massive waiting list for tickets...

Probably for season tickets.

As far as attendance goes....get used to it. I think someone mentioned it in a thread in here not long ago that we will probably see stadiums get smaller and smaller over the next 20-30 years. I expect attendance at games to continue to plummet unless there is a drastic price drop. When you can buy an 80" LED TV for under 3k and sit in the comfort of your home with a group of friends and spend less than $50 on food and beer....You win. More and more people are realizing this and giving a big FU to the stadium prices. Expect audiences of 30k or less in the not so distant future.

There should be no such thing as a Black out. It's your teams home, show the game regardless!

Its cost, plain and simple - people will stay at home when its freezing to sit in the comfort of their armchair, with a nice glass of bourbon as long as they have to pony up to get to the game. If owners made it real cheap to get to the game and watch it you'd get full stadiums every game for every team regardless of records, just because its a fun day out. Even if its January in Green Bay, Wi.

The blackout rule is stupid and counterproductive. You think people are not going to watch the game anyway? They just stream it online. Threatening a "blackout" isn't going to motivate people to go watch as much as better pricing/better game day experience (re:parking/tailgating etc).

The whole idea of a "blackout" is socialism in action in my opinion - and could only be considered by a monopoly like the NFL. If there was competition in who showed the games (or rather in who had the right to show them rather than the league owning all the intellectual property rights to the games) it would be a more entertaining product.

Its downright un-American I tell ya! And I'm not even an American!
