He brings back some good memories for sure... but I also flash back to fumbles and him becoming a whiner.

Tyler is a solid choice.

Couple of honorable mentions would be five time All Pro and college football HOFer Jaguar Jon Arnett who goes way back, and solid-DB on a number of good teams, Anthony Newman.

Now, about that Tre Mason choice.

Start a CB that loved to play 10 yards back in Eric Harris

You had to ruin a good post with Tye Hill.

That showcased the weakness of milquetoast Linehan, who wanted to draft QB Jay Cutler, but bully Jim Haslett talked the Wiesel Linehan out of it and they traded down and took Hill, who I knew was going to be a bust...First Hill was 5' 11, then 5'10, then 5'9, like a cheap sweater, he kept shrinking after every wash.

I wanted Haloti Ngata. I know that Cutler was a popular choice, but I thought Ngata was going to be a superstar. I was pissed when I saw Hill being picked. He was rated as a mid-second round prospect, and I knew he'd bust after we picked him.

Yeah, yeah ... OK

Hill was a bust but you have to consider the entirety of a draft to fully evaluate and appreciate it.

Don’t forget the Rams other top picks in that Draft. There was Joe Klopfenstein, Claude Wroten, Jon Alston and Dominique Byrd.

martz maneuvered the rams to the edge of the abyss. linehan pushed them over the edge with the two worst drafts in the history of the rams.
