I’ll tell ya what caught my eye is the talk that Cleveland might cut Nick Chubb to save like $14M in cap room. If that’s the case he’d likely be looking to sign a one year “prove it” deal to show he is fully recovered from that knee injury. I know Kyren is a monster but if we could get Chubb on a one year rental for cheap, I’d do it in a heart beat. Sharing the load would keep them fresh for the playoffs, and I think Chubb could help with some of our RZ woes.

I dont think there's any "might" about it, Browns are way over the cap thanks to Deshaun's whopping 64 mill hit
Cutting Chubb and Amari Cooper will save them about 25 mill
Not sure how easily it is to cut Chubb though based on his injury status

I like the concept though the last thing we need is another back who can't go when we are depending on him. But I could get behind that one year assuming there is enough lack of interest around the league to make it possible.

Maybe the Rams sign Amarillo Cooper. He looked good with Flacco this year.

Yeah last season was the only time Chubb missed games his whole career. He’s been remarkably durable while being a top 2-3 back in terms of production the last 5 seasons. To me it’s just a money thing. If we could get him for a good price I’d definitely pull the trigger.

He missed 4 games in 2020 on IR and was inactive 2 weeks in 2021 with a calf injury. Aside from those and last year he has been pretty healthy.

Chubbs is a beast of a running back. I'd say hell yes if his price tag is reasonable. Only question is how good will he be coming off a horrific knee injury.

Yeah that injury potentially changes the equation as to what extent he can stay healthy. Or be healthy. But I've always respected his game.

Totally agree. I'd be stoked and worried at the same time if we signed him. No way of telling how he bounces back, but he's a known workout freak. His squatting videos are insane as hell.

That guy is on another level, If he came back from the injury he had at Georgia, I'm sure he can come back from this one.

If Chubb gets cut, we should be all over him. One year deal with an option. No offense meant to K-Will, whom I absolutely love, but Chubb is on another level.

Well Cleveland can extend him to lower his cap hit, if they cut him it's likely the knee aint right
'24 Chubb going forward likely wont be the same guy

30 is the Mendoza line for RB production. He's 28 and suffered a major knee injury. If the salary was low.....lower than what has become normal for RBs.....sure, I'd take a flyer on him. When they're young and suffer a knee injury, they can come back and be productive. Gurley injured in college, productive in the NFL. McGahee in college, productive in the NFL. I'm sure there have been RBs close to 30 who've had a bad knee injury and returned to be productive but I can't think of any.

Falcons need a QB but I hate to see Raheem sink because of Fields.
I disagree, Fields is from Georgia, IMO, it is a perfect fit for the Falcons as I still believe Fields can be an upper tier signal caller, he just needs to harness some of his running & trust his reads.
