"Allen is one of the most talented prospects in the 2017 draft class and deserving of top-three overall" CBS Sports

# 2 prospect overall - .."Allen dominated the SEC the past two seasons and at 6-3, 286 pounds he possesses the bulk, strength and quickness to line up virtually anywhere along the defensive line." USA Today

My take - Allen will solidify an already strong unit, allowing them to dominate for years

I was surprised he fell this far to be honest. I was starting to think I was going to have a chance at getting him at 12. Great pick and I like the way you think with regards your approach to the draft. If the best player available is a position of strength on your team, who cares.

Great Pick! He was #2 on my list of Best Players left!! Definitely the Best DT on the Board! Has a really good Vert. at 30.0!!

Nice pick although I figured him for more of a mid-late 1st rounder!
* Top 40 at his position at 4.46
* xlnt vert at 35.5
* and had a 128.0 broad jump
Most places have him at either a SS or ILB, I personally have never thought of him at CB. But he's a great pick! He was in my sights too!!:snicker::shades::cheers:

Definately didn't expect him to go in the top half of the first round.

My first choice would have been Malik Hooker but once he was off the board, I knew I had to make the risky move. Loved Jabrill's versatility in college where he basically lined up at every defensive position except defensive line. He was even a force on special teams. Since the Jets need help at LB and all over the secondary, I figured he was bound to be successful somewhere in the defense with such freak athleticism. Personally, I wasn't really fond of picking a QB here since this QB class is very weak, IMO.

Bengals need to shore up the defense especially with DE and ILB. They grab the best ILB in the draft it was a toss up between him and a DE I never expected to be here at this pick.
