St. Louis Rams

The Rams have the toughest schedule in the league on paper. Like the Bengals and Buccaneers, they have a three-game road trip. That's part of an eight game stretch where they play seven playoff teams from a year ago. The only exception: a tough road tilt in Arizona. St. Louis is going to have to be a lot better just to win seven games again. Then again, the Rams aren't alone with tough schedules ...

I'm just going to say two things and then bow out as a bunch of people try to predict the actual wins and losses by game scheduled and end up way off in most cases:

1) You have to play the games so you might as well win them. They play in a tough division but if they want to win the division or get in as a WC they are still going to play SF, Seattle, and AZ two times.

2) how about making the RAMS a team opponents (and their fans) don't want to see on their schedule! The Rams need to become a team nobody wants to play whether it is home or away. To me right now the Rams are teases; they are a Cinderella team some critics and a lot of homers hitch their wagon to, but to others they are still an underachieving pretender that hasn't won anything of importance for an awful long time.

The ebb and flow of each season is different. Teams that looked strong at the start are considered walk overs when all is said and done (remember how the win vs. the Texans didn't mean squat to a lot of people last year but if someone said we would beat the Texans away before the season most would have attempted a backwards summersault. ) There are injuries, momentum, and a bunch of other variables that come into play. The bottom line is you need to take care of your division and obviously win enough to get into the extra season. No excuses about schedules, injuries, etc....it's the same for each team (and their fans).

The only thing I don't like about the schedule is where the bye is. Other than that, we have to play all those teams and I fail to see how the "when" matters.

I really do feel hosed, man.

I mean if nothing else, why not at least be creative? We're playing the Cowboys, Niners, and Seahawks at very similiar times. That's lame!!

We always pretty much have the toughest schedule in the NFL. Doesn't really matter. If you're gonna be the best , you have to beat the best.

That's where I'm at.

Freak it.

Finishing in Seattle is BS. I'm wondering how the NFL explains that.

How about a home game week 17, for a fucking change?

Love that answer! We'll get a week 17 home game once we start winning....

We can be 4-0 when we first play Frisco. And I see a possible 5-0 run in Nov-Dec. I know, I know, but its possible...

We had a tough schedule last year too. If you take away a few bone head plays, and we keep Sam upright we could have won 10... (y)

They could have at least given the Rams a later bye week. 13 games in a row without a break.
No doubt. So the last place team in the NFC West has arguably the toughest schedule AND has to go to Seattle to end the season for the fourth time in five years AND has a 3 road game stint AND has the earliest bye week? This is a ridiculous joke by the NFL.

Oh.... add to that we get to play Tampa in the second week. That shouldn't drain any form of life from us.

Thanks Ms. Frontiere
