Sorry guys but this one HAS TO BE The Dutchman ... Norm Van Brocklin (also wore 25).

I know he is before all our times but he is a Hall of Famer ... NFL Champion QB with the Rams ... and put up passing yards and TD numbers when other QBs were not because the pass blocking rules made it almost impossible to pass block, and the pass coverage rules made it almost impossible for receivers to get open.

Not putting Van Brocklin on the List would be like a life-long Yankee fan not putting Ruth, Gehrig and DiMaggio on an all-time Yankee List.

Yeah can't believe I missed that great QB, not so good Head Coach with the Minnesota Vikings & Atlanta Falcons...66-100-7

Gotta admit, for some reason I was thinking Van Brocklin wore 7. Now I remember it was Waterfield. My bad :hiding:

No need fro apologize. Your #s Threads have been a source of enjoyment.

B-T-W, I believe Van Brocklin quarterbacked the only team to ever beat Lombardi's Packers in the post-season when the Eagles defeated Green Bay in the NFL Championship.
